I'm STILL flailing about this episode, seriously guys. *squeaks!* I woke up this morning and immediately started rewatching it (AGAIN - I actually stayed up til 4:30 to download and rewatch it last night, heh) but my stupid brother called and said he needed to be picked up, so I put the ep on my iPod and listened to it on the drive to get him! haha. I win for fangirly lameness \o/

During the episode last night, I was holding a wooden colored pencil, and by the end of the ep the end was covered in bitemarks. It's really funny :D

So I got to flailing with Mona about DEAN and SAM and their EPIC LOVE, and I wanted to post it... for fun, and to preserve our squeeful thoughts on the matter. Forgive the numerous typos, we were EXCITED okay? :D


me: In the final car scene in Hunted, and in the Director's Cuts, I see a new softness between the boys. They're on a much more level playing field. They're trying to work out how their dynamic works, all over again, and they're both nearly choking with how much they love each other. It's obvious in every look, every word
Mona: YES.

It's the post-Shadow-into-Hell-House thing all over again
They are overwhelmed with their happinesto see each other alive.
Like, they need to get smacked in the head sometimes and remember that they drive each other CREZEH but don't love anyone else like they love each other.
me: Ooh whic reminds me, I loved Dean's line "I know Sam better than anyone" *HEARTS!*
Mona: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE YS
me: And they're in a place where each other's annoyingness is actually just a cause for fond amusement. Things that would previously have made Sam blow up a little just make him smile slightly and shake his head
Mona: *BOUNCE* YES
me: And how HAPPY he is after the "bitch. jerk." thing
Mona: And the WEIGHT that kind of comes off Dean's shoulders
Sammy took CARE of him. And is STILL WITH HIM after Dean told him.
me: Yes! yes! It's like he's walking on clouds or something
Eeee yes!
Mona: Which...fuck, man, Dean surely must have been like "oh fuck me, i told him and now he bailed. no no no no no no no no. gotta find him. gotta get him. calling ellen RIGHT THE FUCK NOW"
me: h god the PANIC
Mona: YES
me: i wish we had gotten to see that
Sam can joke about the secret!!
I mean, i would have almost expected Sam to hold a grudge against dean for keeping the secret
Mona: YES
me: but he understands his brother SO WELL. He understands wy he did it, his loyalty to John
Mona: YES
and that Dean would NEVER kill him
me: And if there's any anger, it's aimed at John, and fear is of himself. Towards Dean it's just gratitude and love and need
Mona: it's like this mutual responsibility they have to each other. Sam is responsible to never "show your brother the killer you really are" and that keeps HIM straight and narrow and Dean's responsibility to watch out fo rhim and *HANDFLAPS*
me: *hops up and down* THEY'RE SO IN LOVE MONA IT MAKES ME ACHE
Mona: YES YES THEY ARE HOMFG
me: SAM THANKED DEAN
Mona: YES, YES HE DID
me: And Dean's response was Eyebrows Of "Duh!"
Mona: YES
GOD
*clutch*
me: But you know inside he was just all warm and fuzzy and EEE I HAVE MY SAMMY BACK
and he DOESNT HATE ME
Mona: *weeps* yes
me: *covers face with hands* it's almost too much!
Mona: "and BY GOD AND ALL THE ANGELS AND SAINTS AND THE BABY JESUS I WILL MAKE SURE HE STAYS JUST AS GOOD AS I KNOW HE IS"
me: *squeaks* YES!
His utter and complete faith in sammy!
Mona: *goes incoherent*

I LOVE THE WINCHESTER BOYS! GYAH! *squirms*
