BSG - 3x09 Unfinished Business

HI OTP HI HI HI I'VE MISSED YOU SO FUCKING MUCH!!!!!!!!! ACK!!!!

OK ok ok ok ok. Trying for coherence. Uhm.

I could not have asked for better. Could. Not. I was expecting some horrible fallout but really? This rift between them? It's LOVE. It's love denied, love suppressed, love so strong that Kara was too afraid to let herself have it. They love each other and they have for AGES and oh, god, seeing them finally have that episode of pure bliss together... I think I just about exploded. You know that squeaky noise Kara made after declaring her love for Lee to the heavens? Yeah, that's how I feel, right there. (That squeak, btw, is the CUTEST THING IN EXISTENCE.)

And the fight, OH the fight. It was brutal but not hard to watch because I love how they ARE together, whether it's fucking or fighting or laughing. OH TEE FUCKING PEE, for serious. My god. Kara fights DIRTY and it's so HER and then they just... come together, inevitably, like a force of nature... they just can't resist it. There is so much love there I'm just drowning in it. I can't... even. Yeah, I'm rewatching right now and just *whimpers and wibbles*

YES YES YES. *hands heart over to BSG*

Now! The thing I'm worried about is where they GO with it. They wouldn't just drop it... right? I mean, I'm wondering if this point if it's actually feasible for them to end up in a relationship. It seems pretty inevitable to me, but these are some fucked up people and who KNOWS what they could do to themselves. Then again, Lee/Dualla can't last forever, because happy relationships just DONT, and it's pretty fucking obvious who Lee really wants anyway. And Kara/Sam is already breaking at the seams. (By the way, when Kara called him Sammy? I may have made a high pitched noise) So, WOW. There's hope!!!

Jesus, it took them long enough to address this issue. But they DID and YAY.

As for the rest of the episode? Pretty fucking awesome. BUT WHY DIDNT LAURA AND BILL GET IT ON?! Damn, secondary OTP right there! I totally hope they go somewhere with that!!!

As for where to go with it...I didn't think about that because honestly I could never again watch the show and be happy with it ending right there. It was perfect. It was perfect for them.

But I seriously doubt they'll just drop it. I'm sure it'll work out. Finally!

I was virtually unintelligibile with squee throughout this episode. I LOVE THIS SHOW AND THIS OTP. I only HOPED we would get an ep like this one day soon and I could NEVER have thought of one that kicked quite this much ass. OH MY GOD, I loooooooooooove this show and those TWO. Fucking, fighting, punching, hugging, kissing, angsting, WHATEVER. Everything they do together is GOLD.

Now who says Laura and Bill didn't get it on? It took them 17 months to let us know that Lee/Kara knocked boots in the dirt....it may take them years to let us know what Bill & Laura did all night long.......right?

It was a great episode. Not sure how I feel about Lee/Kara right now. They are frakked up but good and, as per usual, it's mostly her fault. Just brilliant writing - BSG never disappoints...

And Laura Roslin - the best female character on television that I can remember, ever.
