crystal_lily kindly pointed out that there's an SG-1 episode that features the entire Atlantis cast, which i did not know! I downloaded it, and Rodney just said this about John, after John finished making fun of him to one of the SG-1 guys:
"We're actually, uh, we're quite close." (with an amused, affectionate smile)
And then I put my hands over my face and made sounds that could have been laughter, crying, or whimpers. Or perhaps all three.
SO GAY IT HURTS.
