Just finished watching Pegasus Project, the SG-1/SGA episode.

I kind of love Daniel and Vala. A lot. She's so cute and funny, and he's hot and serious and with the glasses...! Heee. The guy Ben Browder plays... I donno, maybe I'd need to warm up to him? I mean, he threatened Rodney! With a lemon! Only John gets to be mean like that to Rodney :P But hee, guy-Ben-Browder-plays was like "Under the threat of impending death, you can work absolute miracles!" And Rodney looks all proud and amused: "I suppose Sheppard told you that?" *keyboardsmash!* John apparently just can't stop talking about his boyfriend, can he?? I LOVE SO MUCH. *dies*

Sam Carter is vaguely entertaining, but. I'm still extremely iffy about her coming to Atlantis :-/

Aaaand I should probably go get food. I love lazy Saturday mornings afternoons :D

Having watched a little more SG1 than you (but yet not spoiling myself for this ep because I am SO FAR BEHIND)...

I LOVE Daniel/Vala. They're my SG1 OTP, and that's beating out Jack/Sam and Daniel/Sam! She's just so snarky and Daniel is so... DANIEL.

Since it's so few and far between that I actually get to watch SG1... I really don't know exactly when Vala arrives on the scene, but there are some incredibly shippy episodes that include our daring duo.

She is on an episode in Season 8 called Prometheus (sp?) Unbound, the first 9 episodes of season 9, the last 2 episodes of season 9 and all of season 10.

I just watched this ep and really enjoyed it, thanks for mentioning it. I am soooo going to have to watch all of SG-1 now. I loved the Daniel/Vala interaction.

I don't mind Sam Carter coming to Atlantis so much, I quite like her character, I'm just worried about what that means for Elizabeth...and the overall dynamic of the Alantis crew. Time will tell, I guess.

Anyway, Anne, listen, this show really is taking over my life. I watched yet *another* three episodes today. Not to mention an SG-1 episode and the fact that I probably would have watched another episode that aired on tv which I just wasn't home to watch. :D

Yes, The Pegasus Project! So, I LOVE both Daniel and Vala! Daniel is my SG-1 love. :D And Jack/Daniel are definitely my SG-1 OTP, but Daniel/Vala is just too damn good! And man, Vala... First, Claudia Black is just about the most gorgeous woman in existence, and second - Vala! I love her to death. And I usually find it very hard to like female characters (I really don't know why... I'm all about the guys... :D) but Vala just stole my heart. She's definitely one of my favorite female characters on tv EVER. She's made of awesome.

That was a pretty fun episode. It was nice to see Daniel finally get to see Atlantis since he's been looking forward to it for years. I'm iffy about Sam going to Atlantis too but mainly because I'm a big team fan of SG-1 and I wonder why she would be leaving the team to go to Atlantis (plus again I feel like Daniel would have more reasons for being at Atlantis than Sam does).

I loved the little McKay and Sheppard moments. Apparently it was Ben Browder's idea to include a lemon in the episode.

I'm actually not a big fan of Daniel/Vala. I don't like that they are so often the ones paired up which results in us getting less scenes of Daniel with Teal'c and/or Sam considering they've been friends/family since the beginning. I'm also not really into the way Daniel acts when around Vala though it's at least not as bad for me when they calm Vala down a little. Plus in my mind, Daniel's already with Jack and I'm too much of a hardcore slasher of them for that to change (not to mention I hate the way TPTB handle het ships on the show).

I've just started watching Season 9 of SG1 in the past few days, and I am loving the Vala and Cameron characters. I'd gotten bored and frustrated with the show during Season 8, but my SG1 love has now returned. Even the lack of Jack isn't bothering me as much as I had anticipated.
