So there's a rumor going around that it's ANOTHER birthdaytastic day.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY monkiedude!!! You are just a sweetheart. I'm so glad I got to meet you at Wincon, even though it was briefer than I would have liked! You're so cute and fun and witty and generous and all around AWESOME. Oh and talented! Uber super duper talented. I ♥ you like whoa, and I'm so glad we're friends! It is also the birthday of one Jensen Ackles. All I can say is I hope Jared celebrated with him appropriately - i.e., by becoming Jensen's sex slave for a day. *nodnod* And by giving him another extremely thoughtful and personal gift like he did last year. Oh boys. *draws hearts* Happy birthday, Jennybean! I heart you muchly.

I just read an epic (30k words) McShep tale in which they have a child through an Ancient device that takes the DNA of the two people that turn it on and make a BABY. And then they raise her and become the cutest married couple ever and omg. OMG, you'd never read "A Beautiful Lifetime Event" before?????? Eeeee I'm so excited for you! It is possibly my favorite SGA fic of all time.

It is marvelous and lovely and I re-read it all the time when I want to read something that will make me squee and say "aww" and feel all melty inside.

It is a classic. *sigh*

I want to read it again now...but I shouldn't...homework...it is so tempting!

Hee, I'm sorry to tempt you! Be strong! I actually managed to yank myself away from the story halfway through so I could finish my reading for school. I was very proud of myself :P

I'm not surprised it's a classic :D It's so FABULOUS! (Except for the girl's name being "Hyp" - in my head it sounds as dry and unfeminine as it is possible for a word to sound o.O) Rodney and John just slot together so perfectly, it makes me squeeflail. And the thought of Rodney getting under the hood of a Mustang and making it more "growly" made my panties catch aflame. Nnngh. :D

OMG, they were so cute. And how it took FOREVER for them to get 'together,' and the whole time I was like "when is it going to happen???" and how it could have NOT happened, and it still would have been okay, because it was just so freaking adorable the way it was?

But of course, I was so happy when they finally realized it and got to the sexin'! That last scene is like dklafjlkdafl;k. Every time I read it my brain explodes from the hotness.

Yes, Rodney fixing the car was so very awesome.

It is all so very perfect. I can't even count how many times I've read it.

OMG WHEN DID THEY PLAY CHESS?! I blew through the show so fast taht there are a million moments that I know I loved but I completely forget! Which is why I'm rewatching everything! *laughs*

Speaking of, right now I'm rewatching Childhood's End from near the beginning of S1 - and is it just me, or does Karis (sp? the guy who's going to make the sacrifice that night) have a HUGE crush on John? I mean, he's all "I wish I could stay and talk with you" and "Would you act as witness?" and I think it's possibly the cutest thing ever.

Back to the fic - YES! Their married relationship and development of completely nonsexual love was so gorgeous and true and organic. And I love how the sexxin was held off for so long, it worked better that way! I also love that their first kiss was captured by papparrazzi, heeee. I'd kill for those pictures! XD

They play chess at the end of "The Game" and it's adorable!!!

OMG KARAS IS TOTALLY IN LOVE WITH JOHN. I have discussed this so many times. He definitely has a gigantic man crush on him. I love the way he looks at him all moony eyed. It's hilarious. "I'll be honest with you Sheppard, there's nothing I'd like more than to spend more time talking with you." dsdkjldslkjd

And in the commentary for that episode, after he says that line, Martin Gero says, "Huh...they have a...connection." He is totally like, "omg, I didn't realize how gay I'd written this scene until just now!"

I've totally read a Keras/John fic. It was good...I don't know if I can find it anymore, though. I will have to look.

The first kiss in Beautiful Lifetime Event is the best thing ever...and it takes place in a Target, which just goes to show how awesome Target is! How come that never happens when I'M at Target? I go there all the time and never once have I seen guys making out in the TV aisle. That fic gave me unreasonable expectations. Hehe.

OMG I haven't read that. Thank you for the link. I am off to do so now...who cares about 19th century poets! Actually I'll probably switch back and forth.

YAY! I'm glad I'm not the only one noticing the gay ROLLING OFF THE SCREEN. And speaking of commentaries I also need to watch all of THOSE. Both of the Martins are hilarious and entertaining, so that's cool :D
