Oh, huh. I've only ever read a couple Simon/River fics and maybe a Simon/Mal. I never encountered this fanon slut you speak of, hee. He's very much a focused guy, in my opinion - he loves very specifically.

There's a lot of Simon/Jayne. Sorry, I'm not saying you're wrong, and I probably overstated it. He is easily seduced by other guys, in my head. :)

No, hey, there's no right-wrong at all. I just haven't encountered fanon-Simon very much! Hee - the idea of Simon/Jayne is kind of amusing to me. I've never been able to ship Jayne with anyone, personally.
