My school has started this awesome game called Zombies vs. Humans. It's basically a gigantic game of tag. The humans wear a green bandana around their arm, and the zombies wear one around their head. The zombies try to "eat" (tag) the humans, and the humans can protect themselves by throwing marshmallows at the zombies, rendering them unable to eat for 15 minutes. If a zombie doesn't eat for 48 hours, it starves and dies. The group that eliminates the other WINS! There's over 80 people signed up, and it's a bit mellow right now since there's only about 5 zombies around, but I think it's gonna get crazy awesome :D I already saw a bunch of marshmallows all over the ground at one place in campus, and declared "A great battle occurred here!" *g* It's very amusing. I plan to wear my zombie tshirt from Threadless tomorrow \o/

It is ironically also a day of peace and tolerance here on campus, in response to some racial and ethnic slurs that were written on a whiteboard in one of the college houses. There's a big sheet of paper on college green that people are signing with their names and messages of peace. When I signed, the president of the college was there, and he wrote a message that was pretty vehement, which I don't remember exactly but it concluded with
"[the slurs are] the work of cowards and fools." Wow. It was pretty awesome to see him there, so committed to this, and I heard him talking to one of the organizers and he sounded pretty mad too.

So all in all, yay for F&M. Fun and activism! Doesn't get much better than that.

It IS fantastic. The zombies are starting to multiply and it's getting so intense. I had to literally run away from a zombie this afternoon :D

Ahh, zombies vs. humans. My sister kicks serious ass at that. Only, instead of marshmallows, the humans are all armed with Nerf guns. *eg* There was one guy who modified one of his Nerf guns so that it would actually leave bruises when he hit anyone.

Yeah, every night she'd come home and tell me all about the wacky things she and the other humans were doing to quell the zombie hoards. It was actually one of her stories that inspired my bigbang, where Jensen and Jared are college students playing zombies vs. humans. *bg*

You should totally start it! All it took was one girl who wanted to do it. She got funding and some people to help her, and it's really easy! You just get peopole to sign up, selling them bandanas to raise some money for a charity, and selling marshmallows for humans to protect themselves with, and it just happens! I'm sure there must be info about it online, cause it's happened lots of places. :)

Heee. My "Zombie Jesus Day" (it took me WAY too long to figure that out) was completely uneventful and un-holidayish. I sat in my room and wrote an organic chem lab for SEVEN HOURS, and watched some Farscape (omgsogood). "Zombie Jesus Day" reminds me of a picture I saw of the crucifixion and Jesus had a little talk bubble that said "BRB" and one of the people on the ground below him said "LOL". It was far too amusing.

Zombies rock the HOUSE :D
