Oh my god, I AM OVERCOME. I just finished watching the three part Farscape episode, Look at the Princess, eps 11-13 of season 2. And I just. WOW. THE KISS. THEIR FACES. THE KISS. THEIR FACES. DID I MENTION OVERCOME?!???
Also, I was in FLOODS when John hugged the image of his daughter. OH GOD MY HEART.
Pictures!

*heart implodes*

That tongue thing? REALLY HOT.

LOOK AT HER FACE OMG *SQUISH*
The series of episodes as a whole was pretty damn cool. Scorpius is very neat in terms of how he's performed and everything, but his role is a little odd - I mean, WHY is he so frelling interested in wormholes? Why was he just allowed to chill out on the planet like that? That was a bit confusing. Also, why did Aeryn randomly get a yen for rock climbing?
Confusing questions aside, I very much liked the guest cast - the princess was very sweet, and I liked the empress, and the undercover Peacekeeper chick was HOT, yo, and the princess's lover? SO ADORABLE. (Can you tell I don't pay much attention to names? :P) The asshole little brother was annoying and whiny as fuck, but pretty funny as a consequence sometimes. And the whole dilemma was really cool and well played out. The Moya side story was a bit odd, but interesting for Zhaan.
Returning to the darling John and Aeryn (I have the urge to call them PILOTS!! like I do Kara and Lee, because they both technically are!) I really adored their first scene in the first part of the three parter. Him smelling her hair! Her scenting her hair to see if he'd notice! The kiss omg the kiss! And then, oh Aeryn, don't run :( They are so angsty and PERFECT, eeeee!
I'm so glad I decided to stay up for this. They just. OWN ME OMG. *flaps around*

And then on top of that he's got this accent which in most places wouldn't be an accent at all, but since everyone else is Canadian he sounds positively Southern sometimes and it makes me laugh.
I think Ben as Sheppard would have been even weirder since the role at the beginning is a lot like Crichton, and Ben hadn't even finished Farscape when SGA started (that's why he didn't get the part). It was weird enough for most Farscape fans to see him and Claudia on SG1 even with different characters, especially since there used to be a kind of rivalry between the two shows. I mean, imagine if Supernatural ended after four seasons (gasp!) and Jensen and Jared BOTH went over to Smallville and played different characters. The mind boggles.
