Stargate Atlantis S3 DVDs to be released Sept 18th

The Maybe Good: I might be able to buy them before I leave for Ireland. Maybe. Possibly.

The REALLY BAD: The list of commentaries includes NO ACTORS!!!!! No Hewlett, no Fllllanigan! I seriously want to cry. Commentaries on like 20 episodes, with all writers and producers and shit? BORING. Gero's even only super awesome when he's with Hewlett and/or Flllanigan. I DON'T UNDERSTAND. The actors did most of the commentaries on the second season!

NOT ON, ATLANTIS. *mopes*

ALKSJF I JUST WATCHED THE FIRST THREE EPISODES AND THE FIRST TWO COMMENTARIES!!!!!!!!!

This show makes me so HAPPY!!!!!!! I don't know what it is about it, but it's killing me that I don't have the next disc like NOW!

The characters are totally not what I was expecting, particularly John. I thought he'd be this typical "military hero, take charge" type character and I thought I'd get tired of it. He's the COMPLETE opposite. He's such a breath of fresh air. He has NO idea what's going on (like the audience) and he has the best dry humor and omggggg Joeeeeeeeee, that HAIR! Those EYEBROWS! That NOSE! Those EARS! THOSE HIPSSSSSSSSSSSS I love everything about him. Then there's RODNEYYYYYYYYY!! The second episode where he "faints passes out from manly hunger" and when John pushes him off the railing, they're so GIDDY! Like little boys!!! "I shot him *g*" HEEEEE!!! I also died several times during the third episode, when John's in pain ;_; what amazing acting, like whoa.

IT'S SO GOOD! I WANTS MORE!!! *dances*

And the COMMENTARIES and behind the SCENES! "I can't keep... FORMING HEADS during rehearsal!!" HIS LAUGH OMGGGGG And the directors are HILARIOUS! *price checks the P.A.* "$2.50 an hour"

Plus! LOOK! *points to icon* I love this show so much already, I've dedicated a precious icon space to it!!! One of my few 35 that I charish so dearly!! I WISH I HAD 100 SO I COULD PACK IT FULL OF ONES FROM YOUR USERINFO ICONS!!

I wasn't sure if I'd like this show, and was kinda worried because I know you love it so much and I wouldn't want to bash it on my journal, but WHAT IS IT ABOUT IT ALREADY THAT I LOVE SO MUCH?!?!!!!! I UNDERSTAND YOUR OBSESSION *clings*

God, don't you just love Shep? He's completely not a military figure at all, with all that slouching and sticking up hair and oh, the OBVIOUS GAY *g* And like you say, he's all adorable and befuddled and it's so cute and omg i hearts. :D And Rodney! Rodney Rodney. I love that they establish him as a lot more than just a loudmouth genius from the getgo. It took a lot of balls to walk into that dark nothingness! He's my hero *swoons with love* And John's too :D I love I love times a billionty!

Which commentaries on the first disc did you love? I haven't listened to the whole pilot one, is it funny? My favorite commentaries are actually from second season, when they get Joe and David (John and Rodney) to do a few together :D They give me joy.

He's amazing, both of them. Hell, ALL of them!

As for commentaries, the first one is GREAT! You have to listen to it all, Joe is SO cute, his laugh and he's just *bites knuckles* GLEE! You must hear that one. The second two (episode 2 and 3) are kinda boring. It's just Rachel and... the guy that plays the Scottish doctor (still not entirely familiar with all the character names!). It's ok, but the first one is great!

*hops up and down* I can't wait for the next disc!! I don't know what it is, but it just HOOKED me right away! Once I get the next disc expect more squeeing!! ♥ I LOVE you for suggesting this!! *twirls* YAYSSSS!
