This morning they had to evacuate the building I work in because there was an argon leak downstairs. Oops! This provided me with a nice chance to get some coffee and nearly finish The Subtle Knife. Lovely!
I also found that the reaction I'd left running over the weekend WORKED! *victory arms* This is very exciting. I'm working on isolating the product right now. It's almost like I'm a real chemist *g*
Went to Six Flags Great Adventure with Rob yesterday. It was grey and cool to start, then it started spitting, and the rain got gradually heavier as the day went on. However, it was warm enough that the rain really wasn't a nuisance (to the people swathed in awkward ponchos I say, "WIMPS!") and the rain kept the place from getting crowded, so it was AWESOME. We went on every single major roller coaster, some twice, and all in all had a blast. Those rollercoasters are fucking intense and sweet. Yay!
My favorite moment from the Fall Out Boy concert, which I keep replaying in my head: in the very first song, the intro track from the new album, Infinity on High, there's this moment where Pete goes (on the recorded version) "hehe, WOO!" and it's pretty much the cutest thing I've ever heard and always gets me all energized and ready to rock out to the whole thing - and he did it in the concert!!!! *squees into fists* He had his beautiful smile on (which he doesn't do often, in the concert, but when he does it's like the sun coming out from the clouds) and just looked so mischievous and playful that I did a little squealhop thing and pretty much died on the spot with joy. I LOVE YOU PETE WENTZ. *beams*

Date: 2007-06-04 09:21 pm (UTC)Heee, aw, you wee thing ;) I've always loved rollercoasters. And I have a stomach of iron - there's no kind of motion that's ever made me feel nauseous, including the sea :)
