Well this blows!

I bought my ticket for OOTP because I saw the other times were selling out, then I told my friends to do the same, and when they tried a few hours later.... our time was sold out.

GREAT. So now I'm the only one in our group with a ticket, which cost 14 freaking dollars, to a movie that's 45 minutes away. I highly doubt they'll give me a refund. If they will, great, then I'll just go on Thursday to see it on a normal screen and maybe go to it on IMAX in a couple weeks or something, because I still think that would be awesome. But if they won't refund me I'm seriously considering going by myself. Is that lame? That's really lame. But um. HARRY POTTER. On a screen as big as a HOUSE.

So uh. Yeah. *FACEPALM*

OH MY CHRIST, NO, IT AIN'T LAME. O_O I went to License To Wed by myself just this weekend cause my friends didn't want to go to that one, and the degree to which I was excited about that movie is nowhere NEAR the degree of excitement about Harry Potter. As long as there's no other reason for you miss it, I definitely say GO. \o/

Oh! Okay! I don't know where I got this bizarre idea that it's weird to go to a movie by yourself. I always always went with my family as a kid (and by as a kid I mean... through high school, lol) and so it was always a group/social affair of some kind. It just seems really strange to me! Huh. But I think y'all are def convincing me to go :)

Btw: ICONLOVE *squees into fists* I get so fucking sick and tired of the HHr persecution that pervades every corner of this fandom, it's so good to see a compatriot *clings*
