Obsidian Eyes.... the movie!

Wow, that was so surreal!!

Okay, so, in high school I wrote this short story called Obsidian Eyes, about a lonely boy who gets found by a vampire. My friend Lia, who's into filmmaking, took a shine to it and asked me if she could make it into a short movie. I was taken aback and flattered and said yes of course, but I didn't actually think anything would come of it. Well, she commented on my Facebook wall a few days ago and said they'd finished and posted it! :O

So I watched it, and it's quite cool! It's amateurish, of course, but I like the mood they set, and it's just so damn cool to see my own words coming to life.

How very, very cool! I never once thought I'd get to see my own written word transformed into sights and sounds. Now I see the appeal of screenwriting :D
