In which Brendon and Ryan play "Lying Is The Most Fun..." together on acoustic guitars in some dressing room somewhere, with Pete Wentz and other random people watching. I love the chance to watch Brendon and Ryan's fingers at work - Ryan's hands just seem MADE for guitar playing. Those long fingers! I myself have the dexterity to play the guitar but not the reach - my fingers are stubby little things! I totally envy him. The only thing that makes me sadfaced is that Ryan doesn't sing. Sigh! However, Brendon's voice is in TOP form. It's absolutely gorgeous.

Ryan (to Pete): "I can't believe you signed us. You're a retard."
Pete *grinning*: "I can't believe it either!"

The way Brendon and Ryan communicate in looks and noises and one word notsentences. They're just on the same wavelength and so comfortable with each other. Gah.

Oh! And also I love that Mark Hoppus is there! That they got to play with him. And hang out with him. Considering how Ryan constantly talks about how Blink 182 is why he started playing guitar. That must have been amazing for them! I'm so happy for Ryan!

Oh so that's who that is! I had a suspicion but I wasn't sure. You've seen the video where they play a Blink-182 song with him right? Acoustic, live? AWESOME. I'm just picturing Ryan totally geeking out, to Spencer particularly but also to Brendon, just being all GIDDY. But then when he actually is around Mark, he's all cool-guy laid back. Oh, RYAN.

Let's see: yes, yes, yes, and yes. BOYS! ♥

Brendon does play that gorgeously, doesn't he. Sometimes I resent that he's just billed as the singer, because he is really genius at multiple instruments! Mmmmm, jumping up and down on my competence kink there, Bden!

And Ryan and Brendon, perfect duo, yes times a billionty. Mmph.

Ryan was a complete geek about it, I'm sure. And he tried to be cool around Mark, but Mark KNEW, man, because Ryan was flushed and talking just a little too fast, and so clearly just barely restraining himself from breaking out into choruses of "OMG ILU. YOU'RE THE REASON I PLAY GUITAR YOU ARE THE BEST EVAR OMG CAN I HAVE YOUR AUTOGRAPH???" But Mark's a cool guy, so he just talked, put Ryan at ease.

Ryan still refused to sing in front of Mark until he absolutely had to though.

God I love watching Brendon play instruments. Any instrument. Especially piano. He's just so talented it's a little overwhelming sometimes. He also get more attractive every day. WTF Bden? Stop that, my heart can't take it.

I discovered this video the other day thanks to some amazingly generous person who uploaded it somewhere and I must have watched it thirty times since. The whole thing is awesome. I really, really want them to do some sort of impromptu acoustic concert with Ryan singing and them being all relaxed like this.
