I feel like it's time for an update. Even if I have little of any sort of importance to say.

I watched Moulin Rouge twice since I got it (yesterday afternoon) AND all of the bonus features besides the commentary. Yes, I am obsessed. It's a fucking incredible movie, and Ewan of course blows my mind. There's this really cool feature where you can watch the dance scenes extended (most notably El Tango de Roxanne) and also they have this thing where there are four camera angles on the dance scene and you can switch between them with your remote, so you like edit the scene. It's really awesome. Also, Nicole Kidman is ridiculously pale and skinny. Yet still gorgeous. How does she do it?? :P

I've also been listening to the soundtrack a little, but not so much because some of the songs have been inexplicably altered from the movie version, and not in a pleasant way. Even elephant love medley was tinkered with, and I think it's impeccable in the movie version. And they BUTCHERED Come What May!! There's more lines, and the music is totally different. It's almost techno, like a dance remix, although not that intense (the version in the DVD extras IS a dance remix, and it's horrendous) and I hate it. euck. But there are still some good songs, thank you nebulein for sharing with me *hugs*.. it's not your fault the people messed it up, of course.

Also, QaF 512 makes me happy. Extremely rewatchable. I just hope I'm pleased with the LAST EPISODE... *nervous*

One last note, I'll probably be making another icon post soon. Soonish. I might hold off for a week because then I'm leaving for two weeks, and it'd be nice to not have any icons just sitting around for that time.

And, have you seen the Eastereggs yet? There are, erm, 15 or so. Some of them are BS, but there are some v v v nice ones. :D

The version of come what may that I have on the OST that someone sent to me isn't even close to the movie version -_-
I don't like it at all.

I was exploring the extras disc for easter eggs last night and I found a few! But not 15! Some were quite amusing. I loved the outtake with Ewan and Nicole singing :D

I dont think there are parts of the medley missing, it's just that they used a subtly different recording, and it feels different. Less playful. Particularly on Nicole's part. I'm picky. Lol. I was exaggerating though, I think, it was an initial impression.

Thanks for the link to the eggs :) I found several of them, I looooved the one with Ewan kissing Baz. He's so joyfully bi, it's a beautiful thing! *grins*
