QaF Finale song and spoilers... steer clear, virgins!

I've been listening to a song from QaF 513 over and over and over again (thanks theaeblackthorn *hugs*) and I just paid attention to the lyrics for the first time and realized how fucking perfect the song is.

That plays over BJ's LAST SEX ScENE *nearly has a heart attack from saying that* and it's just.... so appropriate. I think that's why they chose it even though it blatantly and repeatedly says "her," because it's just so damn appropriate. Just as Brian finally learns to admit his LOVE, Justin goes away. Through Brian's loving consent of course, but still. He's GONE. *sniffles* I think it's another case of the show saying what's unsaid with the lyrics (case in point: PLEASE DONT TAKE MY SUNSHINE AWAY) because even though Brian is letting Justin go and they're on very positive terms, he's still burning inside with this feeling that he's just admitted to himself, but Justin is... gone. It's saddening and makes me feel for my poor Brian, but at the same time it's heartening because it's saying that their flame is burning bright (like Em! hee) and will definitely not die any time soon. This is a B/J ending that holds hope and promise for the future, and this song upholds that I think.

I am trying SO HARD to be positive here, as you can tell. But regardless, it is a LOVELY song. I'll probably upload it later, when the finale has aired.

The "her" kind of annoys me actually. But it IS damn perfect, thematically. VERY perfect.

Okay, I've seen this scene and well to be honest, I've gotten that there is a finality to it, that they probably won't ever see each other again, the more you think about it, the more you get from it--that is why that song is just so appropriate for that scene.

And actually, if you want, I would suggest you get the whole cd, I got it a couple of years ago and it's totally worth it.
