I AM SHENANIGANATING WITH
glamorousnymph IN BELFAST! \o/
She came down to Dublin this morning! :D We had an awesome day - we went on the Dublin Bus Tour, which you can get on and off whenever you want because you buy a 24 hour pass and the buses stop at each stop every 10 minutes. We walked around St Stephen's Green (it was sunny and beautiful today!) and it was SO gorgeous, so green and colorful, and I'm going to be living a two minute walk from it! We went and found my apartment building, which is gorgeous and in a really nice quiet little residential area. Then we went to the Guinness Storehouse, which was pretty fab - I tasted my first genuine Irish Guinness, and oh wow. AMAZING. I have a million pictures which I'll be posting at some point! We basically had a blast together.
We spotted many bandom-related sights - a machine that said "Spence Dublin" on the side, many things named Patrick of course, Ross Street, some place with Jonathan in the title, a place called "The Academy," etc. We also derived great enjoyment from imagining what Panic! would be like at any given attraction. Like Brendon as the caffeinated five year old in the Guinness place, and Ryan trying and failing to keep him in check, etc. Good times, good times. There was a lot of giggling :D
Then we met up with her best friend Claire, who goes to Dublin a lot, and Claire's friends Anna and Aoife (spelling may not be quite right...) who go to Trinity! Anna apparently has a good friend who's a third year Chemistry student, just like me! I already have Irish friends at school, this is awesome :D They were really fun and funny.
And then Bec and I hopped a bus to Belfast! Now we're chilling out in her house, being made fun of by her new male roommate (who likes BSG and SGA - it's hilarious, I always end up bonding with guys over those, like my roommate's boyfriend) because we're giggling our faces off about the Panic! boys. Um. Still. Shut up.
Basically I'm having such an amazing time and Bec is a lifesaver for rescuing me from my loneliness! :D YAY!
(Sidenote: William and Gabe's VMA red carpet shenanigans is still my current happyplace - has anybody uploaded a video file of it? Because I want to have it to keep forever and ever and ever!)

Just in GENERAL because I have spent all day looking through panic! interviews and gazing rapturously at Ryan Ross' PRECIOUS FUCKING FACE and I need an outlet for my squee or else my sister will come to see what I am screaming about and I will end up babbling about Ryan and Brendon's epic love and she will TRY TO HAVE ME COMMITTED. jFIPAMGPIJfj;oagjafn GJIAPWMFAIPWGKJFIajwf;oawgifawigj.
*tries to breathe*
More relatedly: Like Brendon as the caffeinated five year old in the Guinness place, and Ryan trying and failing to keep him in check, etc. THAT. Is adorable. God, Brendon is such a MONKEY. <3333

Date: 2007-09-24 04:12 pm (UTC)I convinced my roommate to at least go to Belfast with me so I don't have to go there alone (she doesn't even know who they are but I will play them to her every day till November Mwahahah). I really, really want to go because the chances of seeing them some time soon in Germany are really low.
