exsequarThree hours of computational physical chemistry with a hangover = LEAST FUN EVER. I was working with two guys on the lab and one was quiet and nice but not very bright, and the other was sarcastic and loud and a little funny and a little obnoxious. The loud one claimed me as his regular lab partner - um, okay? :-/ The lab is like. Really, really hard. Ugh. We finish next Friday and then write the report for the Friday after so I have plenty of time to read up on it, but bleh. HARD. I haaaate physical chemistry. Hate.
Last night really made it all worth it though. I had such a great time. Mostly I want to put Colin in my pocket and keep him FOREVER. I'm not sure I have a crush on him, and I really don't think he's into me that way, but it's all good because he's so PRECIOUS. He's sweet and modest and funny and smart and he's just very... genuine. He has no affectations or fakeness to him. I adore him. And we exchanged phone numbers last night! That's a sign you've made a REAL friend :D (Okay maybe I'm crushing on him a bit. But in such a warmfuzzy way! I just want to laugh with him and hold his hand which is large and warm and sturdy and talk about geeky things and watch awesome movies and laugh and laugh. ♥)
Oh! And! There's another member of sci fi soc named Brendan! And he's really cute. I'm kind of enjoying this befriending-a-club-full-of-boys thing *g*
So only one person commented on my epic drunk post of hilarity! I realize this is for several reasons: 1) last night was SPN night! which I COMPLETELY forgot until I saw an upload on my flist just now. Whoops? 2) It is only 10 AM over in the eastern States, and 3) MANY OF YOU ARE AT WINCON. I would like to say that I am fiercely jealous, and I hope you spare a nanosecond to think of me fondly. Have an absolute blast, girls. I know I did. Best weekend of my life, hands down. Possible reason 4) You are absolutely sick of me. Haha. I know I am! I can't believe I've only been here three weeks. These weeks have been more exciting than the rest of my life combined, wtf? Hee. I love it here.
