I JUST MET GERARD WAY AND LYN-Z ON THE STREETS OF DUBLIN!!!!!!!

I just. What? WHAT???? How does this HAPPEN??? OMG LIFE I FORGIVE YOU FOR ALL THE SHIT YOU GAVE ME FOR BRINGING ME TO THAT STREET CORNER AT THE SAME TIME AS GERARD WAY AND HIS BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL WIFE.

LSDfkjldskfjlsdjf I'm still SHAKING for joy. I just. Oh my god they were BEAUTIFUL. I mean, pictures do do them justice because there are some awesome photos out there but they were, like, IN THE FLESH and GORGEOUS and SWEET and I talked to them for A WHOLE TWO MINUTES OR SOMETHING. Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!

Okay okay I recapped the whole conversation to Rachel so now I'm going to post that since I can barely type!!

so i jogged after them and kind of said "hi, excuse me, hi, sorry to bother you... gerard way?"

so i was like "I was at the show in London, it was fantastic!"
and he smiled and held out his hand and said "rock on!" and I SHOOK GERARD'S HAND

exsequar: Then Gerard got a puzzled frown on his face and said "Are you American?"

exsequar: And I was like, "Yeah, I'm from Connecticut, right by Jersey!" (hahaha **facepalm**)
and Lynz went "Ooh, where?" and I said "I live in Bridgeport" and she smiled her beautiful smile and said "I'm from Connecticut!"

exsequar: So then Gerard looked kind of embarrassed and looked around a bit and said something like "So can you tell me where anything is around here?"
and I said "Well what are you looking for?"
and they were both like "Something to do! Entertainment?"
and I kind of laughed and babbled some directions about how we're on the South Side on George's street, and if they kept going straight they'd hit Grafton, a major shopping area, and just past that was Trinity (where I go, of course I inserted that) and then north of the Liffey is O'Connell street, another big shopping area
And they were like "Oh cool, thanks!"
and then some pleasantries were exchanged and I think he said I'm glad you enjoyed the show or something like that, and thanks for the directions, and then they walked off!

Augh. AUGH. SERIOUSLY. STILL SHAKING. TREMBLING. I kept my cool during the actual conversation but as soon as they walked away I started trembling violently and then I burst out into overjoyed giggles (when they were well out of earshot!) and I think the people around me thought I was crazy, but OMG GERARD WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY. Of course now I'm wishing I said something like give them my best wishes for Bob and Frank and his family, or asked why they decided to play Desert Song or SOMETHING, but perhaps they wouldn't have appreciated that. Gerard looked slightly wary but I think he was relieved I was a sane fan which is why he felt comfortable asking directions. YAY I WAS A SANE FAN YOU GUYS. I HELD MY COOL.

And I'm so flabbergasted because it was such an insane confluence of events that brought me to that exact spot. I MEAN IT'S A FUCKING CITY. I went into college because I thought I had class, but it was canceled, so I texted Colin to see if he was free but he was working on a project, so I walked home on George's Street to buy a frying pan and get some keys copied, so all that time spent combined with the route i chose combined with me forgetting class was canceled brought me to that exact spot where Gerard and Lyn-Z were being tourists. SDfsldkfjsldkfjsldkfjsd. YOU GUYS. NO REALLY.

ETA: I THINK they're staying at the huge fancy hotel across the street from me!! They were walking out of the street that leads right to it, and it's, you know, huge and fancy, and there's some kind of shenanigans going on in the huge glass room upstairs so I'm thinking it's maybe the band and their people just hanging out. Which, dlfkjsldjkf, WHAT? Ahahahaha MY LIFE WHAT IS THIS.

Ahahaha, I HAD bought the frying pan but I had it in a brown bag at my side, I don't THINK I was threatening! LOL. He just seemed a bit tired (which we all knew, but I can verify first hand, the man is TIRED) but he warmed up quickly enough when he saw I wasn't going to be craaaazy :)
