So I don't forget... for the5thmarauder and any other Harry/Draco shippers on my flist, I have a rec. :) It's a lengthy, well thought out analysis of HBP from a H/D standpoint, all of the new bits of canon brought together, by no_me_toques. Now, I wasn't a H/D shipper before, so this is all very new and interesting to me. I think I might actually get into this pairing now :) Even if you don't particularly ship them, this thing is definitely worth a read. So go on, what are you waiting for? :)

In other HBP news, I am very hurt by all the HHr bashing going on, especially by Emerson (Mugglenet guy) and JKR HERSELF. I am quite offended that she somehow thinks us lacking in intelligence for reading more into her books than she intended. But I'm not going to get into it, for it just makes me angry. Just wanted to let you all know my position on it.

I haven't actually read HBP yet, but thanks for the link. I don't have any involvement in HP fandom - I don't even really lurk, but I have this inexplicable weakness for Harry/Draco. My best childhood friend called me in the early morning the day she finished it to a) ask if I'd finished it so she could squee/cry/gnash her teeth, whatever she was intending to do (I'm unspoiled, so I don't know) and b) inform me that there are two very slashy H/D scenes. She's not even fannish! Clearly my likes are transparent. ;) Anyway, I'll check this out after I've read the book.

You're very welcome! As for HP fandom, I'm involved in it, but only in a very limited way... exclusively Harry/Hermione and Remus/Sirius, really. I avoid all the general HP comms and that sort of thing. The fandom is really quite immature -_-
