Back to the streets where we began

You guys. You guys. It's 4 in the fucking morning and I'M NOT IN BED. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME? I have a test at 2 in the afternoon! (Which actually is a time that exists in the afternoon, unlike nine, RYAN ROSS.)
I'm not entirely sure I'm ready for this test. I've never taken any kind of sociology class before, so the whole mindset is brand new to me, not to mention the ideas themselves. I can sort of semi fluently talk about how the European Social Model is being undermined in an attempt to pursue the success of deregulated labor markets in America in bringing up employment levels, and how this deregulation is actually just decreasing the quality of jobs and worker satisfaction and dealing staggering blows to the very core of what makes Europe European... but I'm not sure I have enough knowledge in my head to answer 6 questions about it. Hrm. (If anybody knows anything about the sociology of Europe and wants to engage me on this topic, GO FOR IT! There's nothing like a bit of spirited conversation to cement ideas in my head.)
But back to the whole RYAN ROSS thing, guys, GUYS. "Nine in the Afternoon" is about how much he loves his boys! NO SERIOUSLY! He said that! Straight from his mouth! "Feeling as good as lovers can," INDEED. *claps happily* And we have a confirmed release date (March 25)! And a theater tour that I would KILL to see but will still be in Ireland for, alas! Oh well! MOAR PANIC SOON YAY. (Am I the only one compulsively refreshing the currently blank www.panicatthedisco.com ???)
I also just finished reading
bexless's "A Natural Reaction to Rough-Housing," a brilliant and sidesplittingly funny NON AU Frank/Gerard that just made my night so much better. Looove. <333 (
esorlehcar, you should totally hit that, you'll love it. Although it's not super angsty. But! Set-within-canon first-time! Hilarity! Brilliance!)
Um, I have no more random things to ramble about. BED TIME. NIGHT.

Date: 2007-12-12 05:26 am (UTC)I think Ryan just made everything canon possibly without realizing it? OH RYAN.
And they wiped everything clean... I think they're trying to be symbolic, but if you're really bored, view the page source and look at the comment. They're such dorks. OH PANIC.
