I'm getting my tattoo tomorrow. You don't need appointments, and I don't feel like waiting a whole week, so Kate and I are going... tomorrow. I'm simultaneously terrified and so unspeakably excited. I think I'm going to love it.

I spent the last hour watching bits of LOTMS and taking caps. Watching Gerard talk about being in Peter Pan makes me grin like an idiot - his facepalming! He's not sure if it's cool he got the part cause it's usually played by a girl! (For the record, the Peter Pan to my Wendy was a boy :) He was just camp enough to pull it off, as I'm sure Gee was.) I love that I have that weird shared experience with Gerard, and I love that he put it into one of his songs, and I love that I'm going to put it on my body for the rest of my life.

Don't be too scared! It really is the best feeling. Yeah it hurts, quite a bit, but it's a good kind of pain. It's totally bearable and totally enjoyable. Good luck!

That's a really awesome tattoo. I've been thinking I want one, and it'd probably some lyrics from Famous Last Words. Something like 'I am not afraid to keep on living' in a cool font. I'm not sure where I'd get it though.
