I'm baaaack!

exsequarHey kiddos ^_^ I have returned from my arduous one week journey completely away from the world of LJ! O.O It was harrowing, and got quite hairy there at points, wasn't sure if I was gonna make it, but I survived and HERE I AM :D I missed you all greatly. I'm trying to catch up on things, but it's extremely difficult >.< I think I might need to do a flist purging... *nervous*
Anyway, I had a great time with my cousins and other family-type people. My mom and her two siblings were all together for the first time in a long while, so all the cousins got to be together and it was nice. There are, um, 8 of us. Gabriel and carmen, 10 and 8, Ellen, Marie, and Elizabeth, 9, 6, and 3, and me, Peter, and Meredith, 17 (almost 18! :P), 14, and 10. The younger kids really had a great time together. While we were in Detroit, we went to visit the Ford truck factory, the Rouge, and we walked around this catwalk over the assembly line and watched it in motion. It was very cool. We also went to the Detroit New Science center, which was neat if a little young for me. We saw an IMAX movie there on a DOME theater, which was awesome cause the screen is, well, a dome :P We saw Forces of Nature which was pretty neat. We also went swimming and stuff like that. It was a good time.
I made lots n lots of icons while I was gone, so I'll be posting those some time today or tomorrow ^_^ college looms ever nearer, and I'm nervous! I've been thinking about what I need to buy, and there's a lot, lol. Still haven't spoken to my roommate. Need to figure out my job, and all sorts of things like that. Also need to go get a cell phone :D:D:D I'm excited for that, even if I probably won't be using it much, since I, um, have phonephobia, lol. It will be nice to have and fun to play with though ^_^
I also won another award for my music video o.O At Ambition Awards I got Judge's choice... don't really know what that means, since it wasn't listed in her awards descriptions. Perhaps I didn't fit in any category, but she still liked my vid? lol. It was the first round of the awards, and really not many noms, so it's nothing huge. But still nice :) It did motivate me to work on my Faith video, which has been languishing on my comp for a full 4 months, or something like that. So I got almost an entire minute vidded one night, and im now at least two thirds finished! Yay! I think I might actually conceivably complete it at some point! :) I'm proud of what it is so far, and I adore Faith, so I owe it to her to finish it, haha.
