Okay, bizarre medical question for you all. So yesterday I was straightening my hair and my right thumb went to sleep, I thought from squeezing the straightener too hard for too long. I thought it would wake up soon. Um? It still feels really weird. Almost 24 hours later o.O It's tingly and while I can feel things with it, I can't feel them as well as usual. It feels like it went to sleep and then never completely woke up again.
Has anybody had this happen to them? Will it just go away? Is there anything I can do? I'm kinda freaked out o.O

Date: 2008-11-16 05:59 pm (UTC)When I started work a couple of months ago, I wore new shoes and they pinched one of my toes enough that that happened. I did some research because I was freaking out and it said it could take up to 9 weeks to come back, but it will eventually come back. The feeling in my toe came back after about 3 weeks, so hopefully this is just the same kind of thing.
