The bestest and I finally sat down and watched the pilot of Merlin tonight. And: AHAHAHAHAHA. I am SO AMUSED. Merlin is such an idiot - you can't brag about your magic if using it will GET YOU KILLED! But he's also precious and dorky and so I forgive him. I just hope he gains a little common sense. Also? Arthur is hot. But I'm sure you all knew that.

AND GILES IS KING!!! I giggle every time :D :D

So for all of you Merlin fanatics on my flist, I have a link that Michelle shared with me - Afterelton.com sees the "subtext" too!. I loled a lot. Keeping your "magic" secret as an analogy for being in the closet in high school! Heehee.

So yes, I have caved :P It was only a matter of time!

Ahem. As terrible as the show itself can be, I am quite fond of some of the characters. :) Also MERLIN AND ARTHUR ARE TWO SIDES OF A VERY GAY COIN. AND YOU CANNOT HATE THAT WHICH MAKES YOU WHOLE. ETC ETC ETC. (My entire reaction to Merlin's "subtext" is YR DOIN IT RONG -- that, or very, very right.)
