exsequarI have the worst memory ever, I swear, so I often feel like I'm forgetting really important things about all of you. It doesn't mean I don't love you, I swear! I just really hate my brain sometimes. >:(
So to help me out, and for a bit of fun, tell me about yourselves!
I feel SUPER useless today, haha. I woke up kinda early to take Michelle to the train station, but when I got home I fell back into bed and slept until TWO PM. Wtaf?!?? I did set my alarm for like 11, but clearly that didn't work D: I only woke up when Rob arrived (he just got back to school) and called my name through the door to see if I was home. *facepalm* I've spent most of my afternoon reading Cake Wrecks. So funny! We did get something accomplished today - we went to the bookstore and sold back my textbooks and then I bought two more for this semester. I hate science books! *glowers* I now have a whopping $60 to my name. Fun fun. >.< Luckily I already went grocery shopping, but who knows when I'll get my next paycheck. Sigh.
Rob just left for DC to go to the inauguration. That's where Michelle went too. I would have gone, but 1) See above re: financial situation, 2) I didn't want to miss my first two days of classes, and 3) I really really don't like hyper crowded places. And that place is going to be INSANE. Sooo I miss out on the historic event. Ah well.
Still: OBAMA IN TWO DAYS!! :D :D :D I'm very very hopeful and excited. Can you believe it? Honestly.
Now I'm gonna go watch the BSG webisodes and maybe some Doctor Who or Six Feet Under. Decisions decisions!

4. What makes you happy: Right now, definitely fandom! My RL is a little bit sucky ATM, but fandom is always there to make me smile.
5. Currently listening/the last thing you listened to: "Time to Dance" by Panic, since it was stuck in my head after hearing it during the football game at dinner. Seriously, WTF CBS?!
6. Do you read my journal?: Yes!
7. If yes, what makes it especially good or bad?: I like how enthusiastic you are about things, and how positive you always are! From fannish things, to your RL, it seems as though you always have nice things to say about stuff, and you make me interested in the things you're doing. Even your posts about chemistry things are fun to read, although I don't understand half of the stuff you're talking about, lol.
8. An interesting fact about you: Hmm...I once hiked down into the crater of an active volcano.
9. Are you in love/do you have a crush at the moment?: Other than my enormous crush on Patrick Stump? Nope! :)
10. Favourite place to spend time: In my room snuggled under my blanket with my kitties! Or anyplace with friends.
11. Favourite lyric: Too many to choose! Right now it's basically everything in this post. Man, Pete Wentz, how are you so amazing? ♥
12. The best time of the year: Probably early summer when it's first starting to get warm outside. Nice weather, not too hot, and not a super bad time for my allergies.
RECOMMEND
1. A film: We just saw Gran Torino today and it was fantastic. Clint Eastwood was amazing in it. Oscar material for sure!
2. A book: The Season of Passage by Christopher Pike. It's my favorite novel. Apparently it's out of print D: but it's worth tracking down a copy.
3. A band, a song, or album: Neko Case! She is one of my favorites, and she has a new album coming out soon. All of her music is awesome, but I particularly recommend "Fox Confessor Brings the Flood" or "Blacklisted".

1. One thing you like about me: You are such an optimistic and happy person. Even if I'm feeling totally depressed, you and your posts always make me smile.
2. Two things you like about yourself: I am very determined, and try not to let life's setbacks get me down. Plus, I am an awesome cook. :)
