Now I clearly need to go to, like, Oxford to get mine so we can chill on the weekends. Or does Trinity offer any summer programs for undergrads that you know of? Because I want to study abroad someplace over one summer and, you know, you had such a fantastic time at TCD... haha.

You totally should! That would be fabtastic <3 I'm not sure if Trinity offers a summer program but there's a program called UREKA which funds summer undergraduate research at other schools in Dublin (Dublin Institute of Technology, University College Dublin). Niall did it this past summer and I think he really enjoyed it. You can google it or I can ask Niall for info if you want?

Niall says they do; however, the American that he knew came in with 6 months of experience, and the Italian came unpaid to get experience. He said they both got funding though, which I'm not sure what he means - whether their research was funded or if the Italian guy eventually got paid for his work. I'm not sure. I can ask him again the next time we talk, I was kinda rushed this morning! He said to call Sabrina Lane though. And you could maybe mention his name, Niall Hynes, if you feel like it, haha.
