So I thought I had rambled here recently about Seattle, but apparently I haven't, so - I'm going to Seattle tomorrow! \o/ To visit the University of Washington Biochemistry Doctorate Program, for those playing the home game. I'm very excited, it's going to be a super fun weekend. Everyone says Seattle is just lovely, and the weekend they've got planned for me looks amazing. Lots of free meals, tours of the campus and Seattle, a grad student-hosted party, nights out at bars, etc etc. Not to mention meeting all the students and professors, of course! Right now I'm reading some of the professors' papers and such to get myself familiar with their work. I've also been doing laundry and packing. It's hard to know what to bring when I have no idea how people are going to be dressing! Luckily the weather's gonna be quite nice, mid forties and just cloudy, so that's good.

Off I go to finish preparing! I will be gone basically for four days, so I'd definitely appreciate someone dropping me a line if, say, MCR does something super precious (AGAIN) or more extras surface from the Merlin V2 DVDs (COMMENTARIEEEEES. NEED.) or etc etc.

omg, it is super cold right now, I don't care what they say. But I do have to say that the U district is a good time, especially with people who know where they're going. I'm sure you will have fun.

I will probably not get to see you. I have work all day Friday followed by cracknight, and then a tkd test and car hunting on Saturday. I think you said you were busy Sunday? Otherwise, Sunday is a possibility!

Define cold? Because 40s is nice, relatively speaking!

Haha. May I never live somewhere where 40 is nice. And it's windy and the air is wet-cold. The day isn't too bad, especially when it's sunny, but the night hurts your hands and face.

Hee. I'm a New England girl. We've been getting down in the teens regularly here recently, and that I am not so much fond of! Today it was in the 50s though, wtf. But I'm sure I'll deal, whatever it is :)
