exsequarToday was a cool day, very eventful. I had my first day of work, and also my first choir rehearsal. Work seems totally fine, nice and laid back yet at the same time I'll really be getting something done (I'm cataloging and preparing books to be shelved, so there's always work to do). The pay is decent as well, and it gives me something to do every afternoon so I don't have empty hours (which would sound nice, but I'm sure it would get tedious after a while).
choir is also very cool. There's over a hundred people, I think, and we rehearse in this theater with absolutely stunning acoustics. We were doing bits of Handel's Messiah (which is our huge project this semester) and it just sounded amazing. I'm so excited to really be part of a real choir. Yay!
college is good. I like college.
