HALP, O FLIST!
So we just got DSL internet from AT&T. That was a clusterfuck in and of itself - an AT&T dude had to come by and connect the outside box. Wtf! And now we're trying to set up the wireless router and IT WON'T WORKKKK. We have a regular old Linksys Wireless-G router. We're accessing its settings by connecting to it through an ethernet cord. We can get to the settings page using Safari or Firefox, but when we try to change any settings at all, it just gives a failed load page saying that it dropped the server conncetion or something. We've tried everything - restarting the computer, restarting the router, changing computers, resetting our IP, EVERYTHING. Nothing is workingggg. :(
The Linksys website is of no help, but I was hoping some of you might be more tech savvy than me. What should we do?!

Date: 2009-10-19 01:30 am (UTC)The person who came over and set up your outside connection should have made sure that the internet was functional. D: But I'd definitely call the support number because the people who I talked to were actually pretty helpful, even though the entire thing was a horrible, quite possibly traumatic mess. Good luck!
