TODAY I:
-Forgot my lunch at home. This meant both that I missed out on an awesome lunch, but also that my fresh mozzarella was sitting out in my room all day. SIGH.
-Spilled half a bottle of yeast growth media. I needed that!
-FLUSHED MY PHONE DOWN THE TOILET.

....Let me repeat that. I FLUSHED MY PHONE DOWN THE TOILET.

Ahahahahahahasob.

I am truly a giant among women. \o/ It was in my jacket pocket, I was hurriedly going to the bathroom because I was late to a talk, and as I leaned over to flush... I had already pressed the handle so my phone went WOOSH and all I saw was a red blur. I stared at the toilet in shock for a moment, and then started laughing. "I can't believe that just fucking happened!" pretty much sums it up.

In conclusion: I win today.

I already submitted a claim and will have a replacement tomorrow for a $50 deductible, so it's okay, and I've already started getting my contacts back. But I am just such a rockstar.

Would someone be willing to do me a favor and upload Muse's new album The Resistance? I need to decide if I want to drop $50 to see them play! What do you think? I really like their earlier stuff (not LOVE love, but I've listened to it a bunch) and I've heard they're amazing live. Have any of you seen them? Thoughts?

Are you awake and available to chat on Gmail? We could discuss this. If we don't get presale, could we still get normal tickets? Would they be cheaper or more expensive? I would be willing to buy the tickets up front for both of us tomorrow, and then you could pay me back, say, half of one ticket and I would cover the rest as a birthday present. Does that sound like a plan?
