Last night, while I was in bed *not* falling asleep (because I had woken up at 1:30, good job Anne), I was pondering either 1) changing my username, or 2) making an icon/graphics journal. I think I settled on the latter as it is free rather than 15 dollars. So I was trying to think of names, and I think I landed on shinyshapes as an icon journal name. What's everyone's opinion on that? Should I make an icon journal? Would you friend it? I think if I had one I would make more frequent updates (say, every 20 icons rather than every 60).

Sas, I got your letter!! It definitely made me smile :D There were parts I couldnt quite decipher, so you may have to translate for me later ^_^ I want a Remus-lecturerer!!

I also got my paycheck today, and as my effort to start a Netflix account was rejected yesterday because I had "insufficient funds" in my checking account, this is a very welcome thing. I mean, it was okay because I had some in my savings account, I just needed to transfer it, but still. I've been spending at a scary rate. I didn't realize how much all the little things up when you have to pay for them yourself! Just a life lesson I suppose. This lesson reads: "Thou shalt not buy more DVDs than you can watch in a month in one visit to Amazon."

I am kind of tired, since I stayed up til 3 and woke up at 7:45. But I can't take a nap because I have work to do. Argh. I don't like work. Especially of the reading-380-pages kind. *headdesk* Off to do that now, oh joyous day! (This is the best day ever, just like Mal's *pets the Mal*)

shinyshapes is nice I guess, but maybe you should name is jass? I think it works better with icons.

Ive used netflix once. Last winter, I signed up for the two week free trial, cancelled, and then did the blockbuster 2 week free trial. As I was only in california for 5 weeks, it worked out perfectly.

And no, I wasnt abusing the system. I found out that if youre in Fresno, Netflix delivers faster than Blockbuster.

Maybe you should let me monitor your finances. Im very cheap. You know how work cited s supposed to be its own page? If I have room, I fit it into the bottom of the last page, and create a line that says

---page break---

And I know, my writing is terrible, it takes extreme getting used to! Or so I've been told, people who have known me for years tend not to have a problem.

And I know, he did something even better the other day that I wanted to tell you about! He came into the lecture abnd started correcting the spelling and grammer of spammers. And going over stuff like that, it was like OMG, that's the thing I wanted to tell you but couldn't cause I'd not told you that yet! yay!

Whatever struck my fancy to make ^_^ So far I've made 5 icon posts and they've contained Ewan McGregor, Firefly, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Queer as Folk, Alias, Lost, Velvet Goldmine, Brokeback Mountain, etc etc etc.... basically I icon what I'm into at the moment. So right now I'm making all Firefly icons cause I'm a wee bit obsessed ^_^

I was just engaged in a rather nasty argument with a girl who never credits icons, and had stolen mine, and was feeling pretty rotten. But now you've gone and shown me that there are decent people! I'm so excited about Netflix. (!!!) And to see that part of Gilmore Girls--I have seen certain episodes of R&R (Raincoats & Recipes) at least a zagillion times. Too...excited...for...coherent...thought...
