So I was tagged to do the OTP meme (yay i got tagged!) by _watchitburn. So here I am, doing the OTP meme :) I have more than 5, I realized, and couldn't whittle them down, so there's 6 with pictures and then a list with the rest of them at the end ^_^

1. Brian and Justin - Queer as Folk
This is my true OTP. As someone put it, my OT-OTP :) They're so... perfect together. Really the only couple whose true true love is so powerfully apparent that I've ever seen in TV or movies. Plus, it's two guys, so that just makes it all the much better, eh? ;) My favorite moment... god, there are so many... well, this picture is from the dancing at pride, in 204, which is so lovely. Look how completely wrapped up in each other they are! It happens every time they dance, and it's so beautiful. Another favorite would be the Forever Young dancing scene, in 118. Or the kiss at the end of 311 (even though it's so short!) along with the Ready to Go sex earlier in the same ep. And the drawer of love in 501. And all of 314. SO MANY GOOD MOMENTS. I told you I couldn't choose :)

2. Anakin/Obi-Wan (which I affectionately refer to as ObiAni) and Ewan/Hayden (it's the same thing, really :P) - Star Wars
This is my newest OTP, but it's really amazing. Ewan, for one thing, totally rocks my world as an actor (he's even in another of my OTPs... see #6) and Hayden, while not so great of an actor, is beautiful and shy and lovely. Their light saber training is the cutest thing in the WHOLE world (not even kidding... when Ewan flicks off Hayden's cap with the tip of his sword and then giggles? SLAYS ME EVERY TIME) and they've even kissed, at one of the premieres! Whee. Ok so that's the RPS... as for the FPS, Obi-Wan and Anakin have a gorgeous friendship, brother-ship (eh? lol) and, in my opinion, LOVER-SHIP. Haha. If you've ever read the novel RotS, you'll know what I'm talking about. Then the tragedy and betrayal is so so painful, and Obi's love for Ani is so clearly apparent... oh man. I really need to see the movie again. Favorite moment? Obi/Ani - in the novel, when Obi gently smiles and says "I've already come for you" (see my previous post for full quote) Ewan/Hayden - aforementioned cap flicking, or the kiss ^_^


3. Mulder/Scully - The X-Files
This one has to go this high up on the list because it was my first OTP, before I knew what an OTP was or really what fandom was. Even though they dont even KISS (on screen) until the end of season 8 (they sort of did in the movie, but NOT REALLY, grr *stabs chris carter*) their relationship is deep, pure, and so lovely. Yes at first they're the skeptic and the believer, but over time the line blurs and they meld into one mind that operates flawlessly as a unit. She's his "touchstone" (such a beautiful moment... from the end of Amor Fati: The Sixth Extinction) and "one in five billion" (also a great moment, though I can't remember the ep name). He even tells her he loves her (Triangle) and I'm pretty convinced they slept together right before all things (at the beginning, Scully's getting ready for work, and then she walks out the door past a naked Mulder in (i believe) her bed. Or his. But either way, um, clearly something intimate was involved there :P Another favorite moment has to be the spooning in Requiem. And the reunion kiss in The Truth. And the whole lost-in-the-woods scene in Detour. And the kiss on the forehead in Memento Mori. AGH, so many good moments. This picture is from the FIRST KISS during Existence, after THEIR child has been born. Awwww. Melts my shippy little heart. There are about a bazillion others that aren't even romantic, they're just beautiful or funny or sweet and they have the best chemistry! It's truly amazing.

4. Harry/Hermione and Dan/Emma - Harry Potter
Now this pairing I love both in the books and the movies. I honestly believe it's going to happen in canon, and nothing you say can argue me out of that. I could go on a rant about how Ron/Hermione is ANYTHING but "obvious," but I won't. Instead I'll focus on the loveliness of Harmony :) These two are the best of friends... best best best. They can always rely on each other for support, both moral and physical during their many dangerous adventures. Hermione's the only one that can get any sense into CAPSLOCK!Harry, and he admires and respects her intellect. They just work so perfectly together. They have everything that a good relationship should be based on - friendship, trust, respect, loyalty. And harmony ;) Dan/Emma is also so sweet, their chemistry is apparent whenever they're together, and they certainly behave as more than "siblings" - dancing, hand holding? I barely want to touch my brother with a 10 foot pole! Except to beat him up of course ^_^ Favorite moments... H/Hr - Movie: 1) Her cheering on Harry (and only Harry) during quidditch 2) Him confiding in her under the tree during the Time turner thing (see picture) 3) Her saying "If you want to kill Harry you'll have to kill us too!" 4) Numerous occurrances of needless hand-holding :D Books: 1) She talks him down out of his incoherent rage in OotP. 2) He gives her the thoughtful present of an Arithmancy book in OotP 3) His shock when he sees her all done up for the Yule Ball. 4) How she helps and supports him during the Triwizard tournament, like teaching him the Summoning Spell. Dan/Emma - I'll just quote one of Emma's responses at the Tokyo Press conference (from memory! I've watched it THAT many times) - "Ummm... Dan (he says "Go on", she laughs) Dan is... a very very good friend. He's... he has a fantastic sense of humor, he keeps everyone on the set laughing and entertained. He's... a great guy, he's down to earth, and umm... I actually genuinely like him. (laughs) There you go." (Then she sort of sinks back in her chair, grins self consciously, tilts her head and scratches the top of her head still grinning... she looks so embarassed and aware that she has just spoken about her crush friend like that in front of so many people.) It's SO cute. Omg.


5. Remus/Sirius - Harry Potter
Oh, puppy love. I can't remember exactly how I got into this ship, I just saw fics floating around and decided to read some, and I fell HARD. I am a sucker for Marauder-era fanfic about these two, and their attempts to deal with their homosexuality as teenage boys. The best is clearly shoebox_project ^_^ Then after I read fic, I started reading things people said about the canon and I realized just how much evidence really is there. I even reread the last three books specifically with their relationship (and HHr) in mind. As the ship's slogan goes, Theirloveissocanon ^_^ It really is. I love when they give a joint present to Harry (who DOES that? couples do, that's who!) As for the movies, SO shippy. My favorite moment is here, from this pic, when Sirius tries to support Remus as he transforms, shouting "This heart is where you truly live! This flesh is only flesh!" *happy little sigh* They're so angsty, and I try not to think about that aspect of the timeline (as in later on, you know, when one is imprisoned and the other alone, and then one dies... *whimpers*) and focus more on the potential of their childhood. They make me happy.


6. Brian/Curt - Velvet Goldmine
This one had to go up here largely because of this *gorgeous* picture. Just LOOK at them. Ewan, have my kids, plzkthx. *grins* I only got Velvet Goldmine a couple days ago but I LOVE it. I'm not sure I can articulate why, it's just so entertaining and bright and awesome. Plus, great music. PLUS, pretty BOYS KISSING. Favorite moment is clearly when curt says "The world is changed because you are made of ivory and gold. The curves of your lips rewrite history." and then they KISS. It's so beautiful. And also when they're curled around each other, naked, in bed. Mmmm. It's all so tempestuous and intense. Yay.

I agree with Brustin, would rather go for Obi/Qui, HP was never my fandom, I'd substitue with LotR ;) (Orli/Viggo here, mostly, but also Domlijah), never even watched an ep of the X-Files, so I'd probably go with Sawyer/Sayid there, but agree with Velvet Goldmine (I have to see that movie again!) :)
Okay, since I just made up my mind about my OTPs, guess I'll do the meme next. Although, on second thought, let's do that tomorrow later.

But, Luke/Lorelei - Gilmore Girls
OMG YES!!! :X I totally have to get the eps and watch it all in order. It was still going when I left Germany and then in the USA they were way ahead, so I kinda got lost there. Same happened with Six Feet Under *sad sigh* But I'm such a sucker for Luke/Lorelai! I also liked Rory/Jess...

To tell you the truth, I don't REMEMBER Qui-Gon! I only saw each of the first two installments once, a long time ago, and... I basically don't remember them at all. Of course I need to see them again, even though they're supposedly not that great. Yeah.

I have only seen bits and pieces of Gilmore Girls too! Like an episode here and there of the season that just ended, and really only random pieces throughout the earlier seasons. I need to find a way to see them in order.

I think Dom and Billy is adorable :)
