So I go to my journal only to see the dreaded BANDWIDTH EXcEEDED thingy where my header should be :( I seriously freaked the hell out o.O It wasn't pretty.

But once I calmed down, I checked when it would be resetting, and it's in two days (on the 6th) so I'm okay *breathes* I just replaced my headers on my two comms. The biggest bummer is that all my own icons are gone, so my icon comm is pretty much useless at the moment.

On my pbucket, I've gotten over 100,000 hits! Does that seem a bit extreme to anyone else? o.O

Errr...100,000 hits? That's a little extreme, you might want to see if someone is hotlinking your pictures or something (which, of course, I have no idea on how to check on except to go snooping around).

I... what? Er. Thank you! I disagree, but that's very nice of you to say ^_^ I really hope I don't find someone hotlinking my icons, because I will seriously flip a shit, and I hate conflict like that :(

I just checked my PB account and the most hits I got was about 20,000/30,000 so yeah, 100,000 seems excessive but then again, I don't know how much traffic you get over at your icon journal. Do you have you photobucket account public? If you have it public, people can just take the url right off of that but it's of course, it won't completely deter hotlinking. You might want to check out other journal sites too like Xanga or Greatest Journal.....there's always some jerkoff there who has an icon journal filled with other people's work. I'll take a look around to see if I find anything.

Yeah I highly doubt that my icon journal gets that much traffic... I get something like 20-30 comments per post, and that's about it. It does seem like someone must be hotlinking :( Although there is the fact that I have several images from my pbucket loaded on my layout (the icons in the sidebar, for instance) so that could up it significantly. Every time I look at my flist, that's a hit right? So I don't know, I suppose it could make sense... do you only use your pbucket for the icons you post?

100,000 hits! I guess somebody could be hotlinking but I have no idea how to find out if someone is or not. I just checked mine and I'm currently getting just over 40,000 hits a month which I think sounds pretty reasonable and so far my limit hasn't been exceeded. I am so thankful for that. I think I'd cry if that happened. Hoep it's all back up and working fine soon! ;)
