France is victorious! And pretty to boot!

The France vs. Brazil game today was AWESOME. I had so much fun watching it. France has ended up being the team I've watched the most this world cup (this was the third game of theirs I've seen, and I haven't seen many since I can only watch on the weekends) and I'm really developing affection for them. Zidane rocks my socks, and he totally kicked ass today. Henry wasn't really impressing me earlier, but then he got that great goal today, and PLUS he is the most adorable celebrator. He gets so excited! *hearts* Ribery is really talented, he's so fun to watch. Makelele has the coolest name EVER. And yeah. So I just thought they really deserved to win, and I'm glad they did.

Hee! He is quite beautiful! And you know what I just realized? He reminds me STRONGLY of my old assistant soccer coach, who was also bald and also had a smile that lights up the world and also got crazy and adorable when he was excited. He was pretty much the hottest man I've ever had the privilege of knowing, and he was a really good friend too! I miss him!

thierry henry is my favorite player for france too but mostly because arsenal is my favorite epl (english premier league) team...he's really cocky but rightly so! this is probably going to be his last world cup too.

i'm personally rooting for germany now, and hoping they get to kick portugal's ass in the finals because of the dramatic and UNFAIR football game yesterday between england and portugal.

games here are at 10pm and 2am, so i've gone almost no sleep this summer. all european teams in the finals woohoo!!!!!!

Oh wow, what dedication to watch at those times! *lol* I noticed the European thing, which is funny because the commentators that we have for a lot of the games predicted either Argentina or Brazil, and they're both out already! Soccer's so unpredictable, which is why it's so fun :D

I hope France smashes Portugal, personally. I really haven't liked the attitude of Portugal at all... although I think Deco's pretty sweet, and he'll be back in the next game. But yeah, I want it to come down t o Germany v France in the finals - that'll be intense!

Hee, Henry is really cocky, you're right. And I didn't like him very much for a while because it seemed all he did was get called offsides! But he's grown on me :D

haha football is everywhere over here. i'm back in indonesia for the summer but football is still pretty big here (although not as big as it is back in england, i suppose). anyway i don't have a job or anything so it's not like i have anything better to do!

i actually wasn't that surprised that france beat brazil. they won the cup in 1998 which wasn't too long ago.

i hate portugal's attitude too! although i have to admit, cristian ronaldo is sooooooo pretty.

As for Portugal-France... I like Zidane and Henry. But if they go to penalties, Portugal will win. Ricardo is the best
