Yay for Germany! That was a nice balm to the bitter disappointment of the semifinal. They played wonderfully, with crisp passing and lots of dangerous chances. Schweinsteiger was on FIRE! Those two goals were almost exactly alike, and both were stunning! Fantastic! He totally wasn't on my radar before. I think Lahm has to be my favorite player on the team - he's an INCREDIBLE defender, always making these perfect clean tackles that just make my jaw drop. And he had a great chance fora goal too! He just seems to be EVERYWHERE on the field, plus he's so tiny and wee, I adore him :D I was upset that Ballack wasn't playing though, that was disappointing, though I understand they couldn't risk hurting him more just for a third place game. And they pulled it off without him! Frings put on a great performance out there anyway, so that was fun.

I'm really glad Germany beat Portugal. Portugal just annoys me - they're such a bitchy team, always complaining about calls, or the lack thereof, especially Cristiano Ronaldo! Oy.

Lahm is so tiny but very fast *lol* I like to call him mouse *g* And Schweini shot the second goal only for me *snickers* (or at least I'd like to think that) omg that game was so great sooo great! I'm so sad that it's over now :(

Haha! What I found kind of weird was how his cheekbones look bruised - either he was actually bruised, or he has some MAJOR circles around his eyes. But he's cute despite all that ^_^ Plus, so TINY and TALENTED. Oh how I adore.

I was dissapointed that fatty didnt play, although the camera did find him on the bench. Or Bolovsky. Or however you spell it. I like to say buluvsky.
