Would you squeal about The Sentinel for a while? Gimme the basics? I've seen it mentioned a lot but I know nothing about it!

Okay, well first there is the pretty (http://www.wolfpanther.com/images/Cascade3.jpg). Ahh yes, the shallow is alive and well.

Second, there has never been a more married couple on TV, EVER! And they are very much the odd couple. Blair is a Anthropology student looking for a subject for his thesis (or his 'Holy grail') and Jim is an Army Ranger turned Cop who was lost in the jungle for a while, where he hung out with the Chopec tribe and learned about this abilities. As soon as he got back to civilization he repressed his enhanced senses, for a while at least, but they got too much and only Blair could help him. What follows is an epic love story (but they're totally not gay) with passion, betrayal and Blair dies. But Jim makes him not dead again so it's all ok.

Oh! Gayness is good. I approve :D Sounds interesting - though I'm still not sure I have any kind of sense what the show is like. Is it set in modern times?

It was made in the '90's and it is set in that time, it ran from '96 to around '00
