Why thank you! Physically impossible tennis comes from an anime, Prince of Tennis, which is the crackiest of the crack and, yes, physical impossibility -- think Dragonball Z does middle-school tennis, except a million times more awesome. XD Sparks fly off characters' feet as they jump to serve, and it's not uncommon for returns to be moving so fast they catch fire; characters glow, fly, and flash in psychedelic colors, or move faster than the speed of light. They have caused tornadoes and breaks in the space/time barrier. They've played underwater. Once, a player achieved a level of tennis so profound and enlightened that he sprouted wings, right there breaking out of the back of his school uniform. I AM 100% SERIOUS, I HAVE SCREENCAPS.

My favorite moment by far, though, was when the captain of the protagonist's team delivered such a powerful swing that his balls turned into meteors... which caused the extinction of the dinosaurs.

I do so love anime. :))
