My dear flist, some of you must watch Six Feet Under, right? I only recently remembered that Bravo was airing it, so I went to TiVo to set it up to record and found that I missed the whole first season and the second season is just starting. So, is it a good idea to start watching at the second season, or should I wait for some opportunity to watch the first season? If I won't be TOTALLY lost, re: characterizations and stuff, that'd be nice. If someone could just give me a nice succinct summary of the premise and the first season, I'd appreciate it :)

Also, does anyone have any Zeppelin they could upload? I've got Zeppelin III and I really like it :) In the immortal words of one Dean Winchester, ZEPPELIN RULES! *laughs*

I'm going to post my Christmas wish list, soon, I swear. Honestly.

Also, if you haven't read my Jsquared college AU ficlet, what are you waiting for? :D Thank you so much to everyone who's read and feedbacked! *hugs* More will be forthcoming at... some point!

A while ago, I posted a list of ten random, kick-ass Zeppelin songs that are not "Stairway to Heaven". That's here (http://elohvee.livejournal.com/265890.html); the links are still active.

Also, I have When the Levee Breaks (http://www.box.net/public/unfgk9dv5q) basically just sitting around taking up webspace, and I might as well upload some more tomorrow, because I haven't music spammed in a while. That, and I'm an audio h0r. \o/

i watched six feet under! *sticks hand up* sadly i completely lost track of it when i went to america for the year and have never managed to catch up after that. but that show is awesomecakes! i really loved it. it might be a bit confusing at first, but i don't think it should be too difficult for you to get into it without knowing first season - though i don't really know when the seasons start and end *lol* it is basically about this family (as i'm sure you've gathered) and the funeral home of their father (who died, so the boys have to run it now). since the broad storyarch is there, but not that present at all times (kinda like spn in season 1), i think it shouldn't be too much of a problem to get into the show. and i'm rambling.

basically: CHECK IT OUT! :D and if you like it, see if you can find some s1 dvds lying around somewhere.

I vaguely recall that one of the things t'brother gave me for my housewarming was a disc with the entire Zeppelin catalog in mp3s, but off the top of my head I can't remember where I put it. Poke me this weekend while I'm cleaning house anyway and I'll hunt it up and send you random songs offa it.

Six Feet Under is a fantastic show. I would say that you should watch from the first season, because it's a very complex show that is always making references to past seasons. Um, I can't think of a way to quickly summarize S1 right now (I've only got 20 more minutes or so), but I can come up with something later today, or find you a link. And I have S1 on DVD, so if you want me to upload some eps, I'll be happy to. :)

Also, if it's on Bravo, it'll be censored, won't it?

Hmm, I'm not sure I'm motivated enough to start downloading the eps. I've got plenty other shows on my plate - this was kinda gonna be a when-I-have-time thing. I dunno. I'd appreciate a link to some summary (preferably without, like, finale spoilers and whatnot) if you can find one :)

And yeah, censored, alas.

Ah, okay.

At the official HBO website, there's a brief summary of each episode. (http://www.hbo.com/sixfeetunder/episode/season1/episode01.shtml) I've linked you to 101. The summary is in the bottom left. There's some pictures flashing, but they're specific to that episode.
