So I deleted my last post, because I am silly and twelve and not really in the cute way. I've come to the conclusion that while Danny doesn't seem entirely resistant to being friends with me, he has NO IDEA I'm thinking beyond that, and thus he isn't either, so it's basically pointless. He's busy writing a paper this weekend, and then this week is Thanksgiving break, so there was a vague "Maybe after break?" thing as he left, and I mean he was being totally sweet (not all closed-off and cold like last time, thank god) and we had a really nice conversation about Harry Potter and His Dark Materials and why frats are gross, etc, so that was nice, but basically I'm stopping this whole effort, right now. I'm fine. Really. It's not like he was my Romeo, or anything. *shrugs* I just thought maybe, for once... you know.

Hey Mona, got any Alpha males you can toss my way?

And... scene!

I just watched last night's BSG, and while it was a good episode (Carl Lumbly (Dixon from Alias) was great) it didn't really make me go WHOA at all. However, next week two weeks from now? OMFG!!!!! FINALLY, SHOW! Godammit. It's been, what, 8 episodes or something ridiculous, and they haven't dealt with Kara and Lee's rift at ALL, I mean, ZERO, and I've been all aflail about it, and now, YAAAAY! *twirls* Can't wait!

Funny thing happened - right after i finished the ep i went down to pick up my laundry, and I passed a room where something was playing REALLY loudly, and it was this dark ominous music and it sounded a lot like BSG, so I stopped to listen, and sure enough that's what it was! I poked my head in (the door was open) and said "Hey, is this Battlestar Galactica?" and they were like yep! And I asked what ep, they said last night, and I laughed and said I literally just finished that! It was a nice, random geek encounter :)

I'm TIRED. Like, whoa. *rubs at eyes* Is it bad to take a nap at 8 PM? Heh.

(I should probably get some new BSG icons, huh)

I say tell him that you like him That Way. What's the worst that can happen? Guys are dumb, sometimes they need a wake-up call.

Yknow, I've been wanting to. And I was planning to if we got to hang out this weekend. But now that's not happening, and I just... I dunno. If I get an opportunity, I will, but I'm not holding my breath for anything to come of it. *shrugs*

If you do get the opportunity, I say let him know how you feel, too. That way, at least you'll then know what's going on in his head.

Although, I think, from his actions/behaviour to date, i.e. him letting you do all the work (calling, asking to hang out, etc.), that he's either seekritly gay. Or very very stupid.

Oh, BOYS! *sigh*

Silly boy. He doesn't know what he's missing.

I say, just see what happens. It's not necessarily over, and maybe if you told him how you feel, he'd take the initiative.

Not that I am the expert in all this. In fact, I am a clueless ditz.
