I'm glad Lee was falling apart at the seams. And Sam too. And Bill reading the file made me cry. It's the only fitting tribute to Kara. Though they didn't even show her frakking funeral.

I still can't believe they killed her. I don't give a flying fuck about Gaius. I'm glad to see Six is going to be important in the next one because she is hot and awesome. I just really don't care about anyone on the show besides Lee now.

And like I said, LEE/SAM NOW PLZ. Both of their scenes - postively smoldering. Mmph. They need to drown their grief in each other.

We're psychic. OR, they were really pushing the Lee/Sam angle for those of us who care to take it there. Someone needs to write that NOW. I call not it!

I think that, one, yes, we are psychic, but two, the actors have mountains of previously untapped chemistry. I really hope that Sam's main touchstone in the show becomes Lee, because previously Sam really existed as Kara's Husband, and now he'll obviously have to take on a role independent of that. And he'll need someone to emotionally connect with. Logically, I think, that person is Lee, because they both have this very powerful sense of loss, and I think they're the only people that can understand each other. Kara was a difficult person to love, but they both managed it, with all their hearts. That's a strong thing to tie them together. Honestly, if they replace my Kara/Lee with a hot slashy pairing, it will go a long way towards helping me forgive the show for killing off my Starbuck.

I KNOW. I KNOW. It's the most horrible thing to ever happen on my television.

The popular consensus is that she'll be back in some way or another. She's pretty definitely dead, being all blown up and such, but her storyline was left wide wide open, and it's pretty certain she's going to play a role down the line. And you know BSG, they can do all sorts of funky things.

I'm pretty sure Kara's not dead for good. I mean, I'm not spoiled or anything, but I just really, really doubt we've seen the last of her. Last week's episode was just too anvilicious with all its "fresh start" stuff. *is still in denial about "Not Fade Away"*

Of course, I suppose I could be wrong. And then I will have to cry in a corner. Forever.

The Lee/Sam angsty man!pain was slasher gold, it's true. I bet the Lee/Sam fic is coming.

Yeah, I don't think she's *gone*, but the point is that my Starbuck, the one I love with all my heart and soul, *is* gone. She'll never be the hot tempered pilot pushing all of Lee's buttons again. She'll play some weird metaphysical role that I may or may not like. I suppose I'll have to wait and see.

BSG has never before given me hot slashy goodness. I'm taking this as a small consolation prize for losing Kara. VERY small, but hot nonetheless.

She's always been my favorite as well, (/biggest understatment ever) and I am a little afraid of what they're going to do. I trust them to tell a good story, I guess (though I don't trust them to handle relationships well). She just better be recognizeable, at least. And yeah, her take-no prisoners attitude was what I loved about her. I just have to be optimistic about it. Otherwise it is too devastating.
