exsequarY'know, I'm just NOT a fan of horn dog Dean. When he says his whole "I bet she could work in some mysterious ways!" bit near the beginning, I want to throttle him, despite him being all heartattacked and about to die (THE POOR BOY *snuggles him* And trust Dean to get woobieish about everything except his own death). But then later, when he's found out how sick she is, and that she's going to die if Roy doesn't heal her, and realizing that they have to stop Roy before that can happen - I just want to snuggle him. The last scene in the motel always brings tears to my eyes - he is so deeply touched by her as a PERSON, and completely forgetting that she's a stunning chick... I LOVE that. And it makes the horndogness just feel stupid and trite, because THIS is the real Dean. I know he's got his act and everything, but it's just over the top sometimes.
I signed up to do a transcript of Salvation and I've gotten started. I've finished up through John's "This ends. Now. I'm ending it." speech. It's actually lots of fun! And I'm looking forward to being really familiar with this episode - there are so many parts of it I love, but it's one of the ones that, for some reason, I haven't watched many times in full. (Though of course I've seen the WALLSLAMMING 80 trillion times). So, yay for that.
I'm going to my aunt and uncle's in Detroit for the weekend, so I won't be updating or commenting. Lucky for me my flist should be RELATIVELY quiet, since so many people are going to Comic Con or Writercon. (Ha, famous last words - it's still gonna be a bitch to catch up). So have a great weekend everybody! *hugs*
