So I watched Gale's new show Vanished.


GALE! \o/ He was snarky and hot and take charge and AWESOME. (Also fully clothed and not hitting on men, which, weird ;))

As for the show itself? Eh. Not terrible. A little too overwrought, like they're trying TOO hard to be different from other crime dramas. The plot's semi-interesting so far, and I'll probably tune in next week if I remember. But it didn't really grab me or anything.

However - GALE. Now I really want to watch some Queer as Folk. In fact, I want to watch the scene in my icon. So I think I'm going to! \o/

I'm so glad to hear that Gale is good in this show (but yeah, it's going to be VERY odd to see him being not!Brian!). I DVR'd it tonight JUST because of Gale, but I haven't watched it yet.

I figure I'll give it a chance for at least a couple of episodes to see if it really interests me. And even if I don't like it that much it won't be a total waste because Gale is just so so pretty ;-)

And GUH, your icon is SCORCHING!

I've always maintained that Gale is truly a brilliant actor, so I was not surprised, but simply pleased by his performance :D The writing isn't stellar, but it's good enough.

ISN'T IT THOUGH? I did go and watch that scene, and I whimpered and almost fell out of my chair! I MISS THEM SO MUCH. Really. My love for those two knows no bounds. Eeee!

Funnily enough that's the second time today someone's told me it was weird seeing Gale fully clothed on Vanished - perhaps I finally need to watch QAF after all these months of being told how good it is!

Hope the show improves for you, pilots can always be a little shaky so maybe it'll surprise you.

I haven't, a shameful confession I know especially since I seem to be gathering QAF fans to my flist like no ones business :) I think I'm going to have to look into it - make room for one more fandom.

lol! Ah yes I can relate to that. Now you do realise that now you've said that the show will turn out to be fantastic and you'll become hopelessly hooked - it's inevitable ;D
