exsequar | FNL 1x05 and 1x06

I'm watching FNL (this show still OWNS me, my god) and THEY JUST STARTED PLAYING STRANGLEHOLD! eeeeeee!!! In a scene with Adrianne Palicki, no less! (WHO, by the way, I have the hugest girlcrush on, EVER. omg.) (And for you sillyheads out there who don't know what I'm talking about, Stranglehold by Ted Nugent is the song that played in the previouslies of the first ep of SPN S2. So the opening riff of that song always gets my heart beating faster, because I associate it with NEW WINCHESTERS EEE! :D)

So pretty much I LOVE MATT SARACEN. I was a bit worried there for a little while, that he was not going to tell the truth about Reyes lying, but then of course he did and I was happy yay! Also, he played SO AWESOME in that game that Voodoo started - I was so proud of him, eee! YAY MATT! Also, his crush on Julie continues to be beyond adorable. Even if she still seems a bit too young for him. Whatever, she has spunk, I like her :)

Tyra's storyline with Connor made me clap and glee, but then it BROKE MY HEART. The poor girl! In this man she saw her salvation, a way out of this tiny little town, this tiny little life that she hates so passionately. I loved the insight we got into her when she was around him - she was no longer the inelegant bitch that she is around Tim. Instead she was sweet, happy, open. It really spoke volumes about how much she resents Dillon and being stuck there - her relationship with Tim was really quite self-abusive, and the way she screws around is her way of saying "fuck you" to the whole place. And you could see the plans in her head - move to California, marry this handsome, successful young man, and just get OUT. And then... she was his one night stand on a business trip away from his girlfriend. That truly broke my heart. I really love her, and I can't wait to see where her arc goes.

Tim is finally drawing me in. Previously, he was mostly sullen and angry and kinda annoying. If still hot. But his reconnection with Jason gave me so much happy - Tim was actually SMILING, and they were just too damn cute. (It's too bad you can't write porn with a quadriplegic - they have so much chemistry!!) But because nothing is simple, of course, there's all the bullshit with Lyla, and of course Jason found out, and oh drama :( No one can be happy! Blah!

Coach Taylor - made of AWESOME. I hated that he believed Reyes, but he did the right thing when Matt brought him the truth. Tami continues to be the best wife ever, and I just adore them. N'aw! *squish*
