exsequarOkay! Here's a less emo post!
I spent the past two days curled up on my darling Michelle's couch, eating a whole tube of cookie dough (some nausea involved, but SO WORTH IT - yum yum) and watching four discs of Stargate Atlantis, the finales of Heroes and Supernatural, and the Bad Girls/Consequences episode pair from Buffy S3.
This, my friends? Is BLISS. I miss Michelle already *desperate grabbyhands* and being with her without the threat of papers or exams dangling over our heads was just... amazing. AMAZING. *flails* I ♥ you dahling!
Heroes finale thoughts!
I. Love. Noah Bennet. OH MY GOD. I mean. I just. *flailyhands of love!* And Claire too. Screw Petrellis, BENNETS FTW. I am unspeakably relieved that he survived, so they can go on being the cutest daddy and daughter team, hi, EVER. Most Squeeful Moment: In the aftermath, when he had his arm in a sling, she moved herself to his other side so he could put his arm around her! ASLKJALJ EEEEE. I flailed. Augh I love them SO MUCH.
As for the Petrellis - uhm. That whole I love you exchange? Yeah. I laughed. Out loud. And upon rewatching just now, I couldn't keep it in again. It's just SO FREAKING RIDICULOUS. Especially how Nathan says it. I'm sorry guys, I feel like I'm being a bad fangirl, but Petrellicest is a huge bust for me. Except for maybe Peter/Claire, cause aw. They are the cutest. Question - does Nathan all of a sudden have freaking super hearing? Because he responds to something Claire said when he was flying hundreds of yards away. Ooookay.
I'm glad Nathan redeemed himself. I'm glad he removed his head from his ass for once. I'm glad he savedthe world New York City. Good for him. I think that's a fitting end, and if they bring him back it will feel cheap and contrived to me. I do hope Peter lives though, because I do love his emo!hair muchly. :)
Molly and Micah = AWESOME. Cute as wee buttons. DL and Niki need to adopt that little girl and have the cutest superpowered family in the world. Whee!
"Hiro. You look badass." OH MY GOD LOVE. I hope Ando's not out of the picture entirely, now that Hiro's in ANCIENT FREAKING JAPAN *hands* Because he is awesome.
Oh yeah, and OF COURSE Sylar isn't dead *facepalm* I never liked him very much, so I'm annoyed. He got stabbed through the gut! Rar.
I have some really unpopular opinions on this show, don't I? Huh. I'm not used to that at all. Weird.
Overall I thought it was a good finale. I really liked how everything came together at the end, how everyone had their own moment. It worked well.
AND I LOVE NOAH BENNET.
