Hahaha. Oh man.

I was just poking through some of my old entries for fun, and I came across one where I was ANGSTING about what was going to happen in SPN S2. I was all "I want the SamandDean show! They can't bring in new people! Wah!" And I was so scared of where it was going to go, whether they were going to ruin it...

AND LOOK WHAT WE GOT. We got one of my favorite seasons of television EVER.

That's it. I'm not worried for S3. I'm excited and want September to be here yesterday! I miss my Winchesters.

I'm sorta going through what you went through last year, cause this is the first season of SPN that I've been along for the ride for, and I'm at the point where I'm worried about the direction of the show in the same way that you were. I'm keeping pretty cool about it, though, more so than some people I guess. *shrug* =P

And I concur, I miss your Winchester posts too!

That's totally understandable. I mean, I'm really freaking out about where SGA is headed right now, far more than I am about SPN, so. It's tough to be optimistic, but at the same time I trust these people who have brought me so much joy in the past, you know? Bah, stupid hiatuses! I swear, we all need shrinks during this time, LOL.

Aww, I'm sorry! I guess my journal must be pretty boring now for the majority of people who are around mostly for the Winchesters. But there's really nothing I can do about it right now, the Winchesters just aren't pinging me :(

But! We only got the SamandDean show last season because people did freak out and made TPTB change their minds about what they had planned (namely the SamandDeanandJo show).

Hmmm. Well. This is partially true, I think, but I never bought into the fear that the whole show would become like No Exit. Sure, they probably meant to shift at least some focus onto Jo SOME of the time, but Kripke is so adamant about it being first and foremost about the brothers that once we were in the thick of it, I didn't really panic. And Jo could have been awesome. Something didn't quite ping, but that doesn't have to be true for whoever they bring in in the future. I'm cautiously open to truly loving whoever comes in. So basically I'm trying to reserve judgment this time!

Gah, it's so weird saying I wish it was September now, because September's going to be all stressful, preparing to spend a year abroad, so I don't think I'll be paying much attention to TV at all! Alas!
