exsequar: (HP - Lupin)

I saw OotP again, YAYE. It was just as mindblowingly fantastic this time around, if slightly less awe-inspiring on a normal sized screen compared to IMAX *g* I did see it with two friends this time instead of alone, and that was lots of fun. There was a lot of giggling. The crowd was... interesting. There was a girl behind us who had the most ludicrous laugh - it sounded kind of like deep honking. She laughed a lot when Umbridge was doing her shtick at the beginning, and Kelly and I were just DYING of laughter FROM THE GIRL'S LAUGHTER. It was supremely distracting. Thankfully she didn't do it any more later. Another hilarious thing was when Luna said "We fly, of course." these two young girls in front of us immediately echoed the line in unison. IT WAS SO FUNNY. Me and my friends were dying of giggles for a few minutes afterwards. Hee! Certainly spiced things up a bit.

My thoughts remain pretty much the same. This isn't a movie that particularly NEEDS a second viewing, but there's nothing lost by knowing how it goes, either. It's simply joy from beginning to end.

I have such a passionate love affair with both Sirius and Remus right now, and thusly I have commenced rereading Shoebox! I swear I teared up with joy when I pulled up the first chapter - I love this story with a huge damn chunk of my heart. Actually more than the novels themselves, to be quite honest. I look forward to immersing myself in this story for a good long while. Sirius and Remus Maturity Lupin-Black, I love you! ♥

I think I'd have to say I enjoy Shoebox Project more than the HP books, too...

Kinda strange, isn't it?

I just finished reading the chapter in which they lose Moony and Sirius is nearly out of his mind and Moony collapses into the arms of a pantsless Sirius and Sirius finds Moony's journal and wee Moony is so clearly smitten with Sirius and oh my heart grows a billion sizes. *flappyhands*

I honestly, truly think that Jaida's a better writer than Rowling. World building is Rowling's true skill, world building and character creation, and I am not belittling that at all. But Jaida and words have a passionate love affair and it makes my heart soar and my breath catch. Mmm.

I haven't reread Shoebox in a while. I think it's time to do so.
