I want Rodney child!fic where he and John have a precocious little genius-brat by some catastrophic catastrophy that they both sort of hate but sort of don't. And then they sort of hate each other but sort of don't. And then there is sex and love and puppies. Fin.

When I got into the fandom, Mona linked me to some of her favorite stories. From there, I read everything by those authors, then I would generally look in their memories, or the memories of other fans, and find new authors. A lot of the authors are betas for each other, so I kinda just followed a trail from author to author. A lot of it was off LJ. It was a kind of unique experience for me, as far as getting into the fic of a fandom goes!

Pretty much all the great stuff I've found is in my McShep rec list and/or my memories. Mona's links were mostly things like Freedom's Just Another Word, the big ones that you've definitely read. Sorry I can't be of more help hon :-/ Have you tried searching stargate atlantis as an interest, seeing if any fic comms pop up?

Eh. I think I was going through your memories really super haphazardly, and then I had to quit Firefox and I forgot about it. I can't wait until I finish canon at this point, though, because I'm up to "Sateda" and I keep running into issues for spoilers for S3 in fic and I'm like "Eearghgurgle." So I think I'm just going to finish the story I'm reading and then watch "Sateda." And you're totally being helpful. ♥!

It's IMPOSSIBLE not to fall head over heels for them! But then I already knew I'd eat it up with a spoon, the only question was of getting my hands on the eps. I just watched 117 or 118. The one where Teyla tries to get into the Wraith's communication and gets "possessed" by one. :D

...actually - with the sheppie icon, i figured out what threw me off a little. after the sheppie ♥ could you make it black again before jumping to the pic? that way it's pic - black - text - black - pic - black etc. in a loop.

I'm sorry you've been feeling down these last couple of days :( I've been so stressed and nervous I've yet to be excited about my trip and I feel guilty about that. It was a great thing 3 months ago when I found out, now it's here, and there's so much to be done ;_;

I have to say though, I know it's just a tv show blah blah, but SG:A has really kept me sane. I mean, my routine when I wake up now is to watch an episode with my bagel :D It's the best feeling ever. For 45 minutes I'm in love, and it's probably the only part of the day (these days) that I don't have worrying thoughts in my head. And even when I'm not watching, I'm thinking back and just grinning like a dork XD

I haven't talked to you in awhile :( I miss you so much! I have all this squeeing overflowing because I never get to catch you online! I listened to the Duet commentary and I agree when they asked, "DAVID HEWLETT, HOW ARE YOU SO AWESOME?!" :DDDD That was SUCH a cute interview omggg. And I just watched "Grace Under Pressure" Hands down, my second fav. episode of the season!! And, who knew, both of my favs. are Rodney epis!!! HEEEE!! But, really, Grace? So many moments of OMFG and flailing (real life, flaily hands at the screen) gasping, teary, hilarious moments!! He is just a genius, never fails to prove that over and over!

Well, I think my journal has given the wrong impression - a couple of things have gone disappointingly at work, but overall I'm okay! Well except for all the *handwave* emoing about leaving my friends. But I'm doing fine in general :)

God, I can only imagine what you're going through honey! All aflail with the preparations? I bet that's so overwhelming! I'm sure everything will get done and you will be 100% ready though, I'm sure of it :D

I'm so glad SGA has been helpful to you though! It really is a super comforting show, it helped me get through a rather stressful semester of college!
