Supernatural 3x03 Bad Day at Black Rock

exsequarOh my god I LOVE OUR SHOW!! It's baaaaaack!
The first two episodes completely missed the mark for me, but I LOVED this one. It had the perfect balance of humor (which wasn't stupid and slapstick but rather REALLY REALLY HILARIOUS) and angst/brotherly love. The beginning had me absolutely flailing - Gordon! Car arguments! "He knows what your weakness is, it's me!" !!!!!! Daddy angst and mysteries! Sammy's soccer trophy! Dean's first sawn off that he made himself... IN SIXTH GRADE! Oh oh oh oh my HEART. And it only got better from there!
The rabbit's foot luck was pitch perfect. Except for the guy getting skewered on the meat fork or whatever, that was NOT OKAY, lol. But everything else just had me cracking up so much. I loved when Sam got pushed into Dean and Sam felt so bad that he just stopped fighting and was like "I'm so sorry Dean!" HEEE. PRECIOUS. And and and. Oh I don't even know where to start with what I loved!
"I lost my shoe *puppyface*" AWWWWWWWWW. SERIOUSLY THE CUTEST THING EVER.

Dean's glee about Sam's good luck! The lottery tickets! The gold watch!
The many instances of protective!Dean! Did you see how PISSED he got when Bela shot Sam? And there was stickyfingers!Dean, and piggingout!Dean and BATMAN!DEAN, and really all my faaaavorite Deans. Then there was sheepish!Sam, tiedup!Sam, flaily!Sam, bored!Sam choked!Sam, and so many precious Sams too. WHAT A GREAT EPISODE. It was the best because Sam and Dean finally spent time together, and worked together - when they busted in on the thieves with their guns? OH MAN *fans self*
Oh oh and! I REALLY liked Bela! I really really did! I thought she was snarky and badass and fun, and a good foil for the boys. Also? Really hot. :D So that's one out of two, not bad Kripke. And Ruby still could grow on me, we'll see.
Bobby cameos ftw! I loved him calling Dean "idjit" :D
These new hunter guys... hm. The creepy religious guy was a little bit iffy to me - he kind of overdid his fanaticism sometimes. But they were pretty cool, and I hope Gordon gets back to spice up that group. I liked the feel of this episode - there were lots of people involved, so the world felt bigger, but at the same time the boys were at the heart of it and still completely the focus. It was wonderful. A+++. :D YAY SHOW!
