I feel like I should post. I also feel like I should go to bed, because it's almost 4, what what? But I kind of don't like going to bed without having posted at all (haha LJ addiction, do they prescribe medication for that?) because then I tend to have few to no comments to wake up to in the morning, and that's just not fun. Soooo... tell me things, guys! Anything! How's your life? How do you feel today? What makes you happy? What makes you sad? How do you feel about Panic at the Disco's mothertrucking FACES? I know they panic MY disco.

A few tidbits, which would be a full post, but instead... are merely tidbits. For I am yawning my face off.

1. New Friday Night Lights for the WIN, you guys. I love this show ridiculously hard. This week it was Smash that made me cry - not once, but twice! How unexpected! Also, there was loads of Timmy Rigs. This made me happy. Why does no one talk about this anymore? It's still absolutely one of the best shows on television, in my opinion, perhaps behind BSG. Amazing.

2. HARMONY, you guys. UGH. MCSHEP. ♥

3. I made icons today! That's kind of all I did, but whatever. And not many of them, but the ones I ended up with make me SO HAPPY. I really haven't been pleased with my icons lately, but I am just so so happy with these, I almost feel like they had to be made by someone else, I'm never so happy with my own! This one is my faaaaavorite - made with one of my LOTMS caps, which I WILL get around to posting, I promise. But dude. Basement!Gerard, chilling in his kitchen with a cig and coffee. I love love love how the coloring came out on this one, how he's got a bit of a glow, the rich red of the cupboards, the amazing font that I discovered today. Yay icons! My inspiration was drawn from ownthesunshine, the graphics comm of an amazing artist who does textures/brushes and REALLY good tutorials which just gave me so many new ideas about directions I could take my icons. Hurrah! I also made these:

4. Had dinner at a pub tonight with roomie Kate (who is still "faaaab" *draws hearts*) and two of the other American girls. Chicken wrap = FANTASTIC. Seriously, nnngh. Sogood.

5. Let us conclude with some FRANKIEFACE. Except, really, it's more accurate to say some nnnnnnnghfrank. Because ohgod.

It's so gooooood. We should totally chat about it sometime! I love everyone SO MUCH. *sighs* Landry is made of win, it is true. In this newest ep (not really a spoiler, just CUTE) Landry, Matt, and Tim were sitting together at a diner or whatever. I was like, AWWWWW. Those three should shenaniganate together more often!

Heee. Sounds like a brilliant plan, and not dirty at ALL ;)

I really vacillate between the two, but it is true that BSG has had some pretty failboat moments, while I can't really think of any for FNL. I even liked the storyline where Landry killed a dude! And yeah, man, they're really successfully making Buddy sympathetic, it's pretty amazing.

I just finished watching the episode. One of the best in a while!

I want to kick Tyra, hard. First of all, why is she being a bitch to Landry? So, she's jealous? She has no right. I like Jean, a lot. She's spunky and she's willing to walk up to a table of football players to talk to Landry. Then, Tyra is mad at Tim? Good god woman, he dumped you ages ago (after you cheated on him). Get over it.

I loved the football table scene although I wish like hell someone would have stood up & escorted the reporter out the door.

Mama Smash - I have loved her since day 1 and she was stellar.

I'd like to think this is the end of Tim/Lyla but I'm afraid it isn't.

Jason was awesome. The writers came up with a great speech for him in order to sell that truck & he delivered it perfectly.

Smash - Oh dear! I have faith that Coach will find a way to protect your scholarship. Gee, I certainly hope so *crosses fingers*

I hate when the episode is over. It makes me sad to wait another week for more. And, it makes me miserable that its ratings suck. I hope for another season for it through some miracle.

Tyra does need a good shaking at the moment. I'm not even sure what her reasons are. Does she have fear of commitment? Jean is pretty fantastic, but I must admit I'm really attached to Tyra, and Tyra/Landry, and really would like to see that come back, but Jean is possibly a better/healthier match for Landry. We'll see - or not! How many episodes are there left until they run out? :(

I really don't think it's the end of Tim/Lyla. The way Lyla said "he makes me happy" just smacked of her trying to convince herself, and I really do think Lyla feels a certain magnetic attraction to Tim, against all her best judgment. Charlie (that's his name, right?) is sweet, but rather boring and safe, in my opinion. She has a rebellious streak in her that I don't think she's going to be able to suppress indefinitely. I did love that she gave Tim the money, because the biggest thing I hate is when Lyla's prattling on about being a good Christian and opening her heart and all that, but then refuses to help someone in need. That was a gesture that showed me that maybe she really means it, isn't just in it because it makes her feel better. On that note, the huge church scenes make me really, really uncomfortable because that kind of worship just feels so... hm, I really don't want to be insulting here, but false? This huge modern cookie cutter building, platitudes being shouted at you (seriously, they jut say the same things over and over) and lots of waving your arms about - it just doesn't feel genuine to me. My point here though is that despite that context, they're really making me sympathize with Lyla, which I appreciate.

Haha, sorry, didn't mean to ramble!

The ratings make me so sad too :( This show is too good to die an early death. The writers strike certainly won't help either :(
