Have successfully taken exam! It went so smoothly, hurrah. \o/

So I had a bit of a snafu with my layout today. In an effort to check the coding for rotating headers, I switched theme layers to an older one, not realizing that this action completely wiped my custom stylesheet. AWESOME. So when I switched back, everything was totally bollocksed up :( It took about an hour to poke at it and restore it to mostly normal, and then I decided, dammit, I'm doing the rotating headers if it kills me because that's what caused all this trouble. Funny story - in the middle of my problems, I asked computer-science-Niall (one of the sci fi boys) for a bit of CSS help, and he asked for a link to the page I was trying to fix up (um, whoops. but I couldn't say no at this point >.<) and he saw Frank's face and went "ewww, EMO". *facepalm* And I said YES. AND IT IS HOT. STFU. I think Niall was slightly weirded out. Whatever :P (I didn't actually need his help in the end! Bah.)

So long story short - I HAVE EMERGED VICTORIOUS! I now have 6 simple MCR headers in rotation on top of my journal. One band, one Mikey, one Frank, two Gerard, and one Frank-Gerard-Mikey. I'm thinking no one is surprised. It's amazing how different the two Gerard ones are - one is Black Parade Gee with skeleton gloves, eyeliner, and sweat. The other is sunkissed professor!Gerard with his coffee and cigarette. I love both versions equally ♥ Check it out! --> exsequar (Refresh a few times. My mommy sent me a care package, including lots of Easter candy, and I keep making myself sick on pastel M&Ms. But there are PEEPS! And CADBURY EGGS! nom nom nom. Yay for mommies :D She also sent me frog PJ pants, and they GLOW IN THE DARK. Made of win.

I GET A MICHELLE IN TWO DAYS. I GET A DADDY AND SISTER IN SIX DAYS. \o/

Thank you! And haha, I know, poor Niall. It's not like I don't walk around in an MCR hoodie all the time though :P The funny thing though is that that picture isn't even very emo (/punk) to me. I mean, he's just got a couple piercings! And a sliver of black hair! I actually said to Niall "but he's not even wearing eyeliner!" and he was like "...okay, emo girl." *facepalm*

As for coding and nonsense, I know virtually nothing about it - I just followed tutorials and stuff at s2flexisquares! Pretty much copy and paste. It would be no big deal if you really wanted to go for it :)

I like Mikey. I think I'm more fascinated with him than anything. I don't get as lusty over him as I do Frank or even Gerard. I think it's because he reminds me of my brother? And wtf, so should Gerard, but I HAVE NO EXPLANATION.

I am working on it! That is the worst part about coming back to LJ after a long period of time. I had Jo Harvelle icons circa March last year and hahaha, I haven't liked Jo since April of last year?

My favorite swaps around between Mikey, Gerard, and Frank given the minute, so I can't possibly prioritize between them, but I certainly lust after them all, haha. Frank the most, but they're all gorgeous in their own ways, and personality/talent plays a lot into that too. Mikey fascinates me, with his stoicism and exceeding geekiness and silliness all wrapped up in one person. I admire him to no end for successfully battling with depression and sticking with the band even though it was really hard for him. I may have rambled about this already but wow, I am REALLY fond of Mikeyway. And his oddly shapped chin. ♥ (And Mikey reminding you of your brother does not necessarily mean Gerard should! They only look marginally related 95% of the time.)

Icons make me so happy. I have 34 of MCR alone right now :D

I am so flighty with my affections! I know for a fact I like them better far away because as much as I lust over them now, I wouldn't know what to with them if I got them near me. Really, though, it's a different person each day of the week with me. I don't think we're supposed to pick! Although you are talking me into Mikey, sigh. I love the geeky-type boys. Especially if they're Clark Kent-geeky and you know underneath it all, they've got this superhuge heart.

I SAW. I keep ogling them. I am going to get there. I have a trillion fandoms, it is nearly impossible to accomodate for them all!

The MCR boys are the first ones I've fangirled that I've really felt like I'd want to speak to in person. My experience with Gerard showed me how comfortable I could be around them, and I'd really just want to have a conversation, you know? They all seem like such fascinating dudes.

Plus I want to ask Gerard or Mikey if they really shared that basement room as kids. COUGH.

I could easily talk you into any one of those three. Should we discuss Frank's earnest, heartfelt passion and rambly sincerity, juxtaposed with his ferocity onstage, his firmly repressed rage issues that are vented via Leathermouth, and the fact that he married his high school sweetheart? How about Gerard, that pasty weird kid who always sat in the corner at lunch but who turned out to have this fucking mindblowing talent for words and melody just bottled up inside him, and what does he decide to do with it? Oh yeah, save lives.

I continually ask myself how they are real, and particularly how they are real TOGETHER. *hands*

I had the chance to meet Jonathan Rhys Meyers, if you know who that is, and didn't. I think it's really easy to romanticize people, especially actors. So, I just went to the bar, ordered my drink, and let him be. I feel like if I'd walked up to him and started talking to him, the illusion would have been ruined. But I could talk with the MCR boys. They are some of the only famous people I think I could hold a conversation with and not be disappointed by. Does that make any sense?

Oh jeez, you are an enabler. I bet you could talk me into lighting my hair on fire. You could pretty much call them the most awful people in the world and I'd still be totally fascinated. I can't help it. Pretty and substance aren't usually in the same package.

Haha, that's really funny - I actually live in the same building as Jonathan Rhys Meyers. He has the penthouse. No I haven't seen him, and no I don't want to, because I've heard he's something of a dick, and anyway he's in a rough period in his life and I'm sure would not appreciate fans bothering him (his mom died recently). I loooove Velvet Goldmine and Bend It Like Beckham though, he's great.

It absolutely makes sense. Well, I feel like Jared Padalecki wouldn't disappoint, just from what I've heard about how glorious he is with fans, but there aren't many other famous people I'd like to meet. I like that fourth wall intact. But bandom is somehow different. All the people on my flist have been schmoozing with The Cab kids lately, and that sounds like so much FUN. It feels like a community, where the fans really are part of the give and take, and that's so cool.

I told you, it's a skill! *grins* I have talked countless people into countless fandoms - SGA, Supernatural, BSG, you name it, I've enabled it. ;)
